They are not branded as loyalists but act as my eyes and ears within the court, many of them maintaining a semblance of allegiance to Andrew even before I left. They don't even know about each other, therefore I keep an eye on Andrew and know which ones have changed sides or which ones remain. Six years! Six years of searching were torture. It crushed one's spirit over and over again. Feeling restless, she stood up and paced as she folded the clothes, placing them on different surfaces. Her mind was absent, but a at a certain point she saw a glimpse of a large figure reflecting on the window, and since she knew that danger could be around any corner, it was as if her body was prepared to fight. Without a second thought, she dripped the clothes, pulled the sharp pin out of her hair that she kept as a discreet weapon, and aimed for the neck as she turned around.

what if he mated with nazneen? won't it heal him? didn't they say that after mating they would heal the mate's wounds or illnesses and make them somewhat stonger and prolong their lives? would that apply to him as well?
He walked down the hall with a sharp pained breath, as if the seen he had seen had wounded him physically. He clutched his chest. This was physical pain. He felt as if an invisible hand squeezed his heart and he gasped for breath. The weight of his impending death settled in, slowing his steps and then he stopped when he felt a warm wet sensationen trickle down from his nose. He touched above his lips and saw blood on his fingers.
