Pretty decent thriller mystery novel. It’s one of those where a bunch of characters are gathered by a mysterious force to do some kind of ghost tasks. This one features a near emotionless protagonist and a mystery of his brother’s death. These kinds of stories never really go far so I’m kind of looking forward to this one.

Reminds me of Pocket Hunting Dimension. The setting seems to just be a lower martial world though, unless they upscale later. Oh shit, MC has a sister. I hope this doesn’t turn out like Pocket Hunting Dimension

Pretty decent slice of life ghost stories. It’s not particularly outstanding, but the trial reads this time are so atrocious this is probably the best one.

Just because hes planting spirit rice doesnt mean he cant eat anything else. Farmers dont just eat months worth of food each harvest and fast the rest of the time. He’s also a clan leader, so they probably have some normal food for him.

No introduction, no context. Its a cold open where you have no idea whats going on and hardly know whos speaking because of gender mistranslations. I have no idea who the MC is because of strange perspectives, and no idea what the plot is trying to be.

Because it’s exactly the kind of surface level interpretation you get from someone’s face
