It was my very first gender bender and let me tell you this , it was GOOD. The FL was not OP and very likeable. There was something about the ML , he was not your typical COLD ML , he was just a serious introvert. The OG love interests did start liking the FL but they all met her when she was a man. And they all disliked her bur the fact is they all got to know her PROPERLY before liking her. Also the ML got to know her properly and it felt like a genuine relationship. It wasn't awkward at all. Also I loved all the FL brothers , this showed how sibling relationships are in real life especially third brother. He was the best 👌 I would highly recommend it.

The FL isn't OP and hasn't gone through reincarnation. She's sweet , witty in battle , her comebacks are amazing. She seems like a normal girl that I'll be able to meet in real life except the fact that she knows Chinese Medicine. She somehow makes it not ridiculous unlike all the other novels where the FLs know Chinese Medicine. The suspense about the FL uncle was well worth it. Song Chabai deserves her own book. When her romance first started , I got so excited but was utterly disappointed she didn't even have her own chapter , even the useless people got there own chapter doing rubbish 😒

The FL was the best , like she suffered so much. Compared to other FL she isn't OP but instead hardworking and had experience from her past life. She doesn't use anything that happens in the future to her advantage instead she goes with life normally and tries to better her life through hard work. The ML was there always to support her but he doesn't need to defend her because she defends herself. The ML is so straight forward and such a gentleman. Their feelings didn't come out of the blue , they gradually developed feelings as he was the only one who helped her from the beginning. And he didn't do it with ulterior motives like getting closer to her... like some other MLs... He helped her and the reason is quite simple , he's a good person. Shi Qing is an awesome best friend and the way she becomes friends with the FL reminded me so much of my friendship with one of my friends.
