You're confusing the timelines. Gu Yuena's first appearance is in Douluo Dalu 3, 20.000 years after Tang San became god. This fanfic is about Douluo Dalu 2, 10.000 years after Tang San became a god. Basically the second book in the Douluo series.

Tbh, Isagi cant learn metavision on the first selection. He still dont know how to use his eyes that well. In the manga he got hints from Itoshi Rin and began to evolve his eyes in the matchs after losing to Rin. He only managed to got metavision in the NEL because he acummulate experiência before. I'm not saying that your novel is bad, its just that isagi cant gain metavision with his corrente specs and lack of experience with his eyes
