Yeah when you said string him up I was thinking along the lines of torture the guy, then string him up to a post high in the sky in some public square for everyone to “enjoy” his suffering. Though I’m sure most people would just be horrified💀

If you’ve ever played Mortal Kombat and been to The Krypt, then you know what I mean. No matter what those people did whoever is putting them through that is just a different type of insane.

In reality seeing someone strung up, naked, and covered in blood and screaming is more horrifying than you’d think, and it’d paint Gevurah in a bad light no matter the reason. What he did is a lot more overwhelming, righteous, and just a lot more appealing on the mind of the people.

He said immediate danger. meaning he isn’t currently being hunted down, or in danger of being hunted as of right now.

I’m going to reply sentence by sentence. Personally I believe most people would save the guy, but we can agree to disagree if you’d like in that point. Yes people have killed for less, but there are also people that have risked their own life to save another’s for absolutely no gain. His values aren’t based on situational or circumstantial action, that’s just the example I gave. As for whether it’s meaningless or not I point you towards Erwin’s Speech
