A refreshing take on the genre that balances aspects from a system apocalypse with some unique asian tropes. (gotta love loan sharks) The author also put in time to develop the MC at the beginning versus giving us the standard selfish-powermongers that we typically see.
GL isn't my usual cup of tea, but I still found it relatable and engaging. (I tend to watch a lot of anime and the story draws heavy tropes from light-novels) The style is fluid and the grammar doesn't detract from the reading which automatically puts this novel among the top bracket on the website. Overall an A grade work shaping up to be a good story!
Fantastic Isekai with a premise that doesn't start with the usual cliche of waking up in a new world or being hit by truck-kun. The dialogue flows well and the pace is just my cup of tea. 9/10 would recommend!
The story heavily caters towards the light novel crowd, which formulated a large part of my **** years. It isn't exactly my cup of tea anymore but I am still fond of the genre. Overall I'd say the author did a good job of evoking some of the more entertaining aspects of the genre.
The story is a classic fantasy revenge story with LITRPG mechanics. Overall, I'm a big sucker for plots involve righting wrong and avenging injustice so I was immediately drawn in. Only issue was the use of dialogue attribution. Specifically during the first page, it made it difficult to tell who was who. Other than that it is a great start!
This is a very original take that I haven't seen. It mixes two tropes (author in their own story and reincarnation into a fantasy world) and so far does it really well. The exposition at the start had some minor grammatical errors which detracted me for a bit but otherwise it is a good story with a solid plot.
I can definitely tell the author put his work in to draw sympathy for the MC because I felt it every step of the way. It is a refreshing change of pace from the usual pace. Stellar characterization and an intriguing plotline is how I would summarize this novel.
The MC by far is the best part of this story. Both because of his uniqueness and because of the strength of the character's voice. When I was reading the chapters it felt like I was seeing the eyes through his lens versus watching like a dispassionate observer. There are a few stylistic tendencies which I found disruptive but that is mostly my subjective taste. The overruse of onomatopoeias stood out the most. Other than that, it is the start of one of the better webnovel series that I have read so great job author!
Not my normal cup of tea but still engaging enough to catch my attention and cause me to read more. Great spin on the classic reincarnation genre!
