To be fair to the old wolf, he was respecting Shinta's wishes and her privacy as well as that of her faction. Does it suck for Emery? yes. But it also sucks for Shinta because she was never told that he didnt know. Now she'll find out just how much Emery cares, especially knowing shes his daughter.

Hey, to be fair, I do be out of shape. Also back in High School, for medical reasons i was underweight & didnt exercise much. I ate a metric ton, but thanks to a poor constitution & frequent nosebleeds, I never had enough nutrients to ever gain weight. That said, I hit sophmore year at a healthy weight due to not having PE thanks to being in Advanced Classes, put on muscle & got to the point by Senior year I was deadlifting 500lbs. So i have no doubt novel me will improve by leaps & bounds.
