I've read up to chapter 197, and the characters are well-rounded, with just the right pace of development. The dialogue is excellent and not cliche. The translation is top-notch as well, with only two pronoun issues. It feels very human and very Chinese without the usual overbearing nonsense. I was a sucker for the staircase climbing scene as well as the ice-cream and river scenes. Well worth the read. Thank you, author.

The grammar and spelling was the Achilles heel here. A decent read, nonetheless.

The author is sabotaging themself with bombastic dialogue at the expense of ACTUAL GRAMMAR. The characters are flat and uninteresting. The MC is blessed with godlike skills for no apparent reason. The list goes on ad nauseam. Basically, the premise showed potential, but the actual story needs a rework from the ground up.
