PLEASE UPDATE!!!!!!!!! So, overall, I love the story and plot and whatnot. The only problem is, the updates are extremely inconsistent, and sometimes it doesn't update at all!!! Please please please update, it's such a good reverse harem novel!

Honestly, I think the author did an amazing job. However, it's kind of awkward how mismatched the couple's cultivation level and strength is. I also don't really like how rash and stubborn the MC can be (especially doing those petty things to the ML's family out of spite), as well as how the MC seems to change so much and warms up to the family so quickly (Kind of cliche). However, this is just my personal preference. What I DO love, is how the MC teases the ML, and how in this novel, the ML is the one who is pure and untainted/innocent who knows absolutely nothing about love affairs. Usually, it's the other way around in novels where the 'assassin' MC is pure and always blushes at the ML's teasing. This part of the MC in this novel is really to my liking. (How she's flirtatious- and bold when teasing, wicked and devilish). Other than her petty stubbornness/rashness, I really love her personality- as well as the ML's. A flirtatious and wicked/devilish MC x A wood-like ML who knows nothing about affairs between men and women.

Honestly, I think this is one of the best novels that I've read thus far. I love how the MC isn't like one of those typical cold 'assassin' characters that somehow starts to blush whenever the ML is around (painfully obvious and cliche) and becomes a weak chick around the ML who can't even retaliate and needs his support. In [The Mask of The Siren], the MC is strong- as strong or even stronger than the ML- who I believe to be Qingyu (rooting for it!). The MC is just my type- scheming, merciless and strong. A bit sadistic and full of blood and gore, all things that I love. Also, unlike the typical female leads, the MC is this novel knows how to bid her time with great schemes and acting skills, and has a GREAT tolerance. I mean, if I were her, I would have bloody flipped already. Very rational and calculating. And unlike regular MCs, she's not stubborn or exposes herself too soon- the MC is someone who is flexible. Calculates 100 moves before she steps, she's NOT someone you want to offend! The story just draws me in so much, I can't wait for updates, author!!! The MC (Hongyue's) character matches with me so well I love every bit of it, I can't believe I found such a gem! Tbh, other than the inconstant updates, I have no complaints about this novel. P.S. I honestly like how unhumane Hongyue is. Although she may come to love the ML (who over he is), I hope she doesn't change too much and become too human-like and kind.
