He’s a child, so he can’t exactly verbalize his torment, it happens, what I’m guessing he wants is repayment for all the years of torment, lies, and deceit, the apology itself seemed so small compared to his problems which is why he wanted more. Emotions are messy that way, you’d think an apology is what you want, but if the apology isn’t what you imagined, one filled with genuine regret so overwhelming that it completely repays that emotional debt that you gave him, then obviously he’s not gonna satisfied.

True, people get mad at different ethnicities, now imagine whole different races It’s already easy enough to make people of a certain race look like absolute monsters and things that aren’t supposed to live. Now imagine how easy it’d be to that with things that literally don’t look like you at all? Remorse and empathy is usually only possible when there’s a common ground of understanding, and that understanding usually only comes from recognizing that they aren’t all that different you. Wars, massacres, genocides.. being xenophobic would be so damn easy. I hope the author elaborates on this point a little, then again, I could just be yapping 😂
