So I don't normally write reviews but i had to with this ones, I don't read books about wars and politics and just intrested in face slapping and romance kinda stuff, but somehow this book got me hooked, it took me months to finish it, not because it was boring but i was feeling emotions along with characters, impatience, unwillingness, relief, Assurance and all, the characters entered to deeply in my heart so i had to put it on hold, reading about wars constantly can be a bit overwhelming. while it may not compare to the books that heavily focus wars and politics but this much was still enough for me. The defeat of Great General shanguan and General shanguan was difficult to read, well the book may favor the poeple around main characters and its normal but it was still difficult to read coz Great general shanguan was not inferior to old master Nan but still got defeated beacuse of trickery, i feel bad for wei mu ya and shanguan Xian, chi dong wei, Qi kan tian and others, there are so many things and characters that i wanna talk about but this review is getting long. I really liked this book and wanna read about ming kingdom that ming shi hong talked about (im assuming its that ming kingdom, is it or not?) and also Astral flower but maybe later i need time. So this book is not just a focus on main character sure the book revolves a bit around them but other character also took large amount of screen time, some you may like, some you may find intresting or boring. Its like the saying that everyone is protagonist of their own lives. I like the wrap with with transmigrators finally doing what they were supposed to do, They were still may things left unsaid but i hope their be extras about all the characters. Lastly i wanna end this reviw with some of my fav scenes, The scene when Old master Nan got to know about Nan hua Abilities, little Nan Luo after defeating his first opponent during Hai familiy rebellion, running happily and raising his hand to his grandpa to lift him up, General chi accepting Feng Ao si as his disciple, Feng Ao kuai's switching careers, finally showing his shrewdness in right place, Long Qian Xing's realization that Nan hua can actually leave him and he should not have taken her being his fiancee for granted and Emperor Zhou cupping his fist towards the soldiers from his window and wishing them well for the war with northen tribe. I love this book and maybe reread when i forget about it again. Thank you Autho

The story is no doubt captivating like any other rebirth revenge stories. Although there's nothing new but if you are interested in reading drama and face slapping then you'll like it, its hella entertaining to read. The female lead is an eye for an eye like person, she is a cold blooded assasin in her previous life so ofcourse she is not gonna be a saint and honestly I dont care how she tortures the villians what I dont like is that everything she does has to be internet, she is on hot search all the time and her friends or minions are always praising or flattering her which kinda gets boring by the time. It would be fun if her character was written in more depth, there should be some mysteriosness about her skills to keep the balance rather then be a superman saving big shots. she doesn't have any trauma or emotional burden for someone who was thrown in killer organization to be an assasin. she doesn't even seems that hurt about her mother was killed. she just got rebirth, got a new body, new family and a cheat so she is like a refresh person who goes on making money and getting revenge. The writing style is horrible, the Author has to explain each and everything all the time, quite annoying and some scenes were difficult to read, its like Author decided to torture all the girls who went against the female lead the Author made them greenteas so readers dont feel bad for them. sigh thats not how it should work.😔 If you read it from the cannon fodder's perspective its quite pitiful....your opponent is smart, powerful and got a cheat and the Author favoring her in every way and you villians just be bitter people without brains doing illogical things to help the female lead show her power more and be at her mercy.🤷
