It's a good read, Nice to see a sane Cersei for a change 😂
Firstly, I never said they were good people. In the original book, it's said that he was abused due to magical outbursts. They highlight it in the first book. It's like how people treated mutants in Marvel. Slave labour, please, he was a servant, and yes, he was a slave they had to bring up. please do note that potters were very rich, and there was never any mention of Dumbledore paying them. Dont know if it would make the difference but since arabella figg could be paid to live like next door, might as well have her bring harry up. Harry only needs to be close Petunia, Dumbledore who never took care of his own family was forcing them to be a family to make up his regrets. McGonagall did highlight that Dursleys were the worst muggles she saw and was against leaving Harry in their care. While they did have their faults, the crime of abusing Harry was more Dumbledore's. That's what I am saying.
I have only read about 16 chapters, but it's a very interesting concept and a well written story. I couldn't resist putting in a review [img=recommend]
It's a magical world, and Dumbledore loves to make unbreakable promises. And it still doesn't cover the part where they were not paid to take care of a child who basically had no relation with them(Petunia had broken away from her family due to lily as she was ignored by her parents who were proud to have a witch in the family) nor the part that they did take care of baby Harry or he would have long died. Not to mention, they were not the legal guardians of Harry(as he was part of the magical community). It was Dumbledore who took the benefits and dumped him there. Moral kidnapping is nice and all, but orphanages exist for a reason. Most of the time Harry was punished was due to his magic outbreak.
can also be a side effect of mental magic as Dumbledore forced them to take care of Harry. They couldn't get rid of him, so they tortured him in return. Dumbledore made them promise to take care of Harry without any other support. He could have had Mrs. figg foster Harry as their neighbour and would have achieved the blood protection as it only requires Harry to be close to Petunia, but he wanted to force a relationship between Petunia and Harry. Dursleys were not nice people, but they didn't deserve much of the hate they got
I think he forced them since there was the incident where Dumbledore sent the letter to Petunia after the dementor attack, in which he reminds them of their old promise to keep Harry in their house
I'm glad this came out I never got why Dursleys are always vilified I mean, they were not nice to Harry, but that doesn't mean they were bad especially since they were facing Dumbledore. He dumped Harry into their peaceful life and refused them their freedom to dump him in an orphanage. Not everyone loves their relatives, more over rising a child is really costly and time consuming especially when they are babies
there will always be haters while I do at times find the MC annoying the book is interesting thanks for your hard work 💜
well, even in our world, the medieval period, age of 15 marriage was quite normal. 18+ will automatically become an adult who is not a right concept, especially these days. A lot of people even hitting 30 are not mature enough. while those who lived in the Ninja World 15-year-olds, even normal people, would be mature enough to start a family and handle responsibilities.
Daenerys is a really good option, while loyalty to stark can nicely be broken if they cancel the engagement after all Robert got a crown due to a runaway bride 😂
