I found that I lose motivation if I fail to finish a chapter quickly enough after I start writing, so a few months back I said fuck it and stopped beating myself up over chapter length. Trust me that it leads to a higher amount written in the end

I didn't write Soul of Negary, but as far as I know there is no fanfiction of it and nobody besides me (and the OG creator Xu Ming) uses the concept.

Negary is the main character of the book Soul of Negary (which I highly recommend) and, to quote that same character : Negary is both an individual and a mindset. A mindset of perpetual growth, which has perpetual improvement at its core.
