Its difficult because multiple versions of the MC are who we're contending with. Couple that with the alterations to the original stories names for organizations and it is just a forest of confusion. But right now Ebner is trying to figure out what each person overseeing the ritual wanted to achieve. Angel and above existence was using this to start their preparations for locating the Sefirot because this is how they will rise above the sequences. Yaldabaoth on the other hand knows about the multiple reincarnations of Ebner and is using this ritual to mess with the plans set up by two of them to support the God of Luck incarnation. That is why the place the ritual took place was the site of Rhine's reincarnation ritual. And that is why Yaldabaoth sabotaged the Seal of Calamity's plans for the ritual. For everyone else, they are from the original story so if you know their path then you know their interests.

Yes the only way for her to act would be to corrupt the wielder of the Nation of Disorder. Forcing him to produce a child with her who would then be under her control and then steal the authority of the NoD. Similar to her plans for Klein in the original. But in regards to acquiring other paths, it would be better for her to return to her original pillar status and then consider adding non-compatible pathways. This would basically just be the conversion affect of the Primordial One.
