He may have been a bit rude but you did use would way to much. Past tense is fine but using the same word in the same structure so many times is legitimately distracting. You can just use the past tense of the verbs in the sentence. “Goku would ignore these looks” -> “Goku ignored these looks”

Thats probably true but it would be nice to indicate that in the story some way. A passing line from Fury or Coleson about how the locals call him Buu would suffice.

I’m not complaining about the name I just thought it would be funny if he thought the name was spelled Boo instead of Buu. Buu is not a word but Boo is what you say when you scare someone.

How does he know his name is Buu? Also it would have been funny if he called him “Boo”.
