This seems eerily familiar... In fact, this story thus far feels so familiar, is it just me? I feel like I've read this somewhere before
Let me explain. When Oikawa called he explained Kagayama misinterpreted something. You see Oikawa was high on sugar so at one point while hanging out with the third and second years he exclaimed, " Iwa chan you know you are my light in the darkness. Please don't leave me ". Kagayama was there to hear it and told everyone. Now everyone thinks he is gay and Iwazumi is his boyfriend.
