I have to say the author's writing style, encompassing their vocabulary and ability to make each moment is what makes this book really interesting. I myself prefer a slower pace that emphasises every moment. Very good so far

Really good read so far! The thing that stands out most for me in this book is the dialogue. The character designs are nice and all, but the dialogue is really fleshing out our characters, like Soujin, who is surprisingly spirited and driven and a little snarky, or Muffet, who threw me for a loop with her whole 'interaction' with Captain Blackhart. You get a feel of the fact that these characters are more than meets the eye. The action is good so far and I appreciate the immediate dive into Sword Magic and Mystcry. I hope the fact that Soujin is starting as a Captain won't hamper how we perceive power progression in the story (if that is something the author intends to explore). All in all great read

I feel like the expansion of the magic system was a bit too forward this chapter, but of course, I'm only only chapter 2 so I can't judge too much yet. anyway, I really enjoyed this one. I like Soujin's personality. His sarcasm remarks and casual way of speaking despite harboring intense emotions is getting to me - in a good way! Muffet really reminds me of Shadow Slave's Soul Reaper Jet, though with a bit of a livelier spunk! Good stuff! On to the next!
