Just hold your breath.
Really good volume, the sappy conversation with Xavia was a drag but other than that a good chapter too
He/She cant translate
Wuxia novels make it seem like fighting multiple people singe handedly is child's play, but in reality, it's really strong. The strongest people on earth would probably get beat up if 3 people came at them, as they only have 2 hands and so much stamina, so single handedly fending off dozens of people is a huge deal. Plus, knights would fight as part of a greater army, so their importance lies in the fact that they can quickly reinforce any section, basically being a walking platoon. With their concentrated strength they also make incredible guards and assassins who can cut through an army to reach the commander. This also means they can easily escape any encirclement if they're really trying to escape. So to truly kill a high-level knight that's trying to escape you would need at least 1000+ people forming a complete encirclement, as they would be spread around equally, and thus the knight will only have to fight 1/10 of the army to escape. Plus, I'm sure low-level knights are relatively common, at least a few hundred per army, and as long as they have the strength of 5 people, they could break any enemy formation they're up against. That is my ted talk.
Teetering on just dropping this novel. Sentient systems = bad writing.
Really feel bad for the author, so if anyone has the link to the original chinese version LMK. And the translations are really doing this novel an injustice, alongside the fact that no one was told this novel actually passed trial read, so many who were interested in this book aren't reading it, as they dont know about it receiving more chapters.
Def fell off, but better than nothing
