Probably one of the more eloquent and deep discussions I've seen between a human and demon in cultivation novels.
What if she got sent back in time.
He's the crown prince of a mid sized country, although having good morals is never a bad thing. However understanding checks and balances along with the possible damage from political strife is important. As someone who has the lives of his kingdom to look after he needs to take more into consideration than just personal morals, even if he does do something it needs to be done intelligently. not just rushing in.
In a darker novel this would be a death flag.
True friends think alike.
Is she finally dead?
Really appreciating the community and harmony in this novel, big difference compared to most cultivation novels.
I really appreciate the onigiri nostalgia, although it may seem small but it brings depth for the mc and helps better understand him, along with his thoughts on the current situation.
Although there might be some xenophobic areas as an American myself I can say the portrayal of the corruption in military and corporations is fairly accurate 🤔 Also please remember that this is a fictional story about a DEMON cultivator, this isn't meant to be all inclusive sunshine and rainbows.
A unique novel with an interesting take on the fusion of technology and magic between a cultivation world and the urban world, not overpowered magic tech but definitely a leg up from normal tech. Also has pretty good country development and theoretical war using said magic tech. Overall definitely a good read and looking forward to more chapters.
