Well said. I think people are forgetting we are not reading a novel based on modern values. This is an era where feminism is not even thought of. Reputation matters more than anything and patriarchy is lord over everything. Although his previous actions are hateful, previous FL was not also a good person to an extent judging from what the author has stated. Anyway I’m looking out for character development from the ML.

The pronoun use of his instead of her is hurting my head rather than the Chu girl’s name change.
