Obviously you have issues. Shadow readers have been a thing since WN started, and I clearly said that I don't use the platform much nowadays. Just because you need to comment doesn't mean that I do too. Just because you need alt accounts doesn't mean that I do too. Believe me or don't, I'm not interested in an argument.

I don't comment because I don't read. At least not anywhere near as much as I used to. I do leave reviews but they get deleted, so I stopped doing that as well. Just like you I saw the announcement, which is why I am here. With that said, I have nothing to prove and am not afraid of any keyboard warrior. Not simping, just stating facts.

Author shouldn't take this seriously. Your writing is still great and on some levels better than before. Seems to me that the guy's rating only reflects his hopes for the stories in hiatus, not the story itself. Ain't no way that he read this and dropped a two on the merits of the story. More likely, they read the synopsis and skimmed through the first chapter. Then left a hate note. I recommend you don't try to reach out to your old readers, it might bring you more readers, yes, but it will also bring you people who just want you to continue previous works and are not interested in supporting this one. Unbiased feedback from new readers will help you more. Just my two cents.
