Yeah i really did go to an author's comments and judge him based off of his likes and using common(maybe not since you're asking) sense. If an author likes gae, odds are he'll add gae to his own fic. Ah i think i understand what you mean, the narration/monolog shouldnt be directed at an unseen audience but instead used to further the MC's thoughts and understanding. That's fair, i dislike when MCs are 'talking' to the readers via thoughts as a shtty way to advance the plot. Still an odd take that its 'white authors' instead of just talentless web writers
