Been reading for years, now I hardly find anything that I enjoy.. Such is the curse.

I really hope the mc won't become too op still, EX luck already feels too much imo
The thorn in the workshop battle is a real thorn if I remember right. The fake thorn was implanted during the 7 years he was hostage to become the real thorn's bowl. That's why he had some strange healing ability during the floor 20th test
Not the Blue Thryssa, I mean the fake thorn. The Blue Thryssa is something else that FUG created, but it was never specified more than that.
btw, if MC is gonna get the thorn, he needs the shell that Baam has (that FUG implanted in him), because otherwise I think the thorn will kill the holder
The blue and red thrissa only power him up whenever he activates and gets the horns, otherwise they don't do anything. Even when he was on floor 20 and didn't have anything he was still able to top every regular and play the game with the ranker. Moroever, the ability to absorb powers like that is part of his special ability to absorb, so it doesn't make sense to say they are external power since they have become a part of him that he digested. None else can do it or they would explode. There is also the fact that he can learn any moves just by being hit by them. Even without anything he would still be the top regular. In the end it's story so the direction is yours. The mc has a nice character, but I would suggest to not make it end up where the mc becomes incredibly op, gets everything, and can do everything by himself. As it is now, I really like the direction so I'm not sure how much the change will affect it.
I fear that if it goes on that direction, it comes to a point where every other character become useless to the story while the mc get everything which would become pretty boring, at least imo
At this point in time, Baam by himself is strong enough to easily defeat rankers even without the thorn or anything else, while still being in the 50 something floor. Even without those powers he is still the strongest regular
I don't necessarily think that he is a waste of the thorn seeing how much he has grown later on, moreover, after the game they get separated for 7 years no? that can be used as the excuse to part ways and for the MC to go his own way by himself
I mean, baam is only useless until he fails the game with Rachel and gets trained by fug, after that he becomes one of he strongest regular
