Tbh, the chapter u deleted seemed more plausible and realistic to me. Now how would he explain why he did it after the sister finds out about s*x?? It would be kinda awkward when he explains it too. So the story book route seemed much better and this kinda seemed little rushed since he didn't even get to finish the book.
