Having a system gives no context in my opinion. My "MC" isn't a reincarnator. The spider is the anchor, and the truth unfolds gradually. You'll discover that beings like Atlach-Nacha have always existed. It's like the Cthulhu mythos - if you've read Lovecraft's original works, you know there was never a need for sth like a system. Those stories often began with discovering an artifact, revealing things that existed long before human civilization. The explanation you liked was that the MC has a system and bought the statue - but in my opinion, that's worse. It's better that these things were already there, and their existence is gradually revealed, just like in the original Cthulhu mythos. If you need a system to explain everything, this probably isn't for you. And don't forget, I gave myself one star
