If you want to model more similarities with the OG Paul but still different, you could change how he acts with more subtlety. Example: instead of “he laughed”, you could change it to “he smirked” or “he chuckled”. This makes it feel more in line with Paul but with obvious difference as Paul would probably just act indifferent or neutral.
