I know it's late but i wanna say my piece hiding and getting stronger would be the smart choice but that would make for a boring story he would also need to go out to gather resources if he doesn't want to wait for like forever to reach his goal of power which would likely put him in the sight of people

honestly without lemons even as bare as you write then this story isn't really much its just some guys becoming op with a lot of the details chopped off
