it's the same reason as a predator eating their prey, part of nature, while humans might use rods to fish, literally a drop in the ocean. ofc dynamite and shit type of fishing are damaging.

as long as it ain't hundreds of people fishing daily and will free the young ones, it should be fine

depending on what kinds of fishing dude, that's why some lakes have prohibition with dynamite fishing but not fishing with rods or nets
