Translation quality becomes MTL at chapter 13, before that I was kinda looking forward to how it was going to turn out. Add that to the novel being dropped already and that's the end of the road for me.
Stop using, commas in between, literally every phrase, it, cannot be, used this, way.
I feel like this might have been better translated as "reputation". Like "leaving a name for himself" as in, how others view him. They don't leave 'names' behind, the guy wanted to leave a good reputation. It makes more sense in the following paragraph when replacing name with reputation.
Earlier on it said that the males lived there even after growing of age, so I assume the girls get married out and the guys stay and share the estate
A little earlier two people in the comments said it could just be a high level sorcerer trying to get a small demon, but now I'm more assured since he waited for the magic power to 'run out' and since it wasn't too long of a time it shouldn't be too dangerous.
We don't know how long it took to hatch though. Could be a 60 minute process from laying to hatching for all we know. Plus all the different species and constant new arrivals from the waves onto the beach, nobody can time it exactly
gimme gimme, chicken tendy
At this point, I'm sure there must be a word that doesn't translate well that describes 'the most popular/pretty girl' in an area. Fairy and Goddess must be the closest matches.
While there are some logical inconsistencies with what the MC acts and thinks like versus his experience, I didn't notice them until other's pointed them out, and that made me convinced of the character's realness. If I can't differentiate between things, it only makes it more believable that the character can't either. While I do get tired of all the enemies, and the lack of time to train, it's more annoyance than frustration, and I can only imagine what someone in that position must feel as well. Anyway, it's well written, unique, and it has potential to be the next Epic. Thank you Author for writing it, and thank you for letting me read it.
