Really good translation and looked great in the start but I'm dipping here, the story has too much useless drama and messy world building that goes against DD original world and even basic logic sometimes

like seriously, I get it, forced plot... but just mention that he'll go with one of the academy teachers, or randomly make up a soul elder who's teaching him or something

._. work-study means working to pay for studies, so...? he can just pay, yet in the following nonsense he's acting like this is some corrupt deal, instead of just being a regular paying student? what in the actual bruh.... are there literally no merchant families able to pay? literally everyone who is not a noble is a work-study student? something is seriously wrong with this world building...

well I read further down, but it's still very low IQ move... if you want to fight that badly, then go anonymously to the Spirit Arena after a few years and claim the martial spirit is his fists or something and just beat people with the excuse of not using spirit rings as a challenge to himself

Yet he still makes a deal to fight with Su Yuntao, who is a part of Spirit Hall... it's really ridiculous these chinese protagonists have no clue what low key even means... when 3 months passes he's either gonna tie or even beat a lvl 26-27 experienced adult.... seriously

It's martial soul evolution by completing sharingan, similar to taking immortal herbs to improve the innate talent and cultivation speed even though TS and his group did it at lvl 30+
