Just your average otaku. I'd rather stay in bed and read novels all day than go out and experience the world.

I can't remember since I last found and read a great sports novel. The writing quality and storyline are fluid, pleasant to read and with a steady pace. This novel makes me a very happy reader. The MC is first and foremost an adult in a teenager's body, and despite living and aiming for his childhood- teenage dream once again, and perhaps finding love (even if he's mentally older than his peers and perhaps love-interest), the author never loses sight of the MC's beginning as an adult. As a reader, I'm grateful the MC isn't one of those who reverts to being an insufferable man-child with a sudden lack of IQ and maturity. That being said, there's character growth because of the MC's reflective personality. He knows he was an adult before, but that doesn't stop him from living his second life as a teenager, fighting for his dreams and goals, having insecurities like any other human being and working on them - and most of all growing as a person. Keep up the great work, author!

What a terrible slow burn. As of ch. 92 the MC is still weak and has almost no control over her life. The system manipulates her at every turn to use points and fall into debt, speaks half-truths and withold informations and details and works her to the ground like a slave to make her stronger, but also to make her earn money for the system. It's like a boss and a salary slave. Eg.: System: Assignment X, Reward: 100.000 points MC: Assigment accepted (like the MC has a choice, not!) System: Oops, forgot to mention 'Assignment X' needs tools to complete. Cost: 1.000.000 points MC: "#€""€%€#!! After assignment completed: System: Alert alert! Host is in debt. Penalty given. MC: What?!?!! System: Oops, forgot to mention. MC: #€%!!! While the novel is good, it's also tiring to follow a gopher MC that never gets a break to develop some character growth because she's constantly fighting to survive the ridiculous assigments that the system dishes out and the situations she lands in as a result. While I understand that the system is crucial to the MC's development and overall storyline, I fear the novel with be filled with a lot of forced humor and filler-like assignments.

I don't mind a novel with an underlying patriotic theme, but I don't want it constantly thrown in my face, which is what this novel does. Everything that the MC does and everything that the story is about is about how great China is, how wonderful the Motherland is and how sacrificing and incomparable the Chinese soldiers are. If the author could lower his volume of nationalism and patriotism just a smidge (like a huge amount of smidge), the novel would be so much better.

So far, so good. A very typical rebirth/transmigrating story about an MC with a space and a kinship burden to bear and keep alive, but still very entertaining. I love a badass female with a strong backbone and 'take no prisoners'-attitude. The siblings are cute and delightful as well. The translation on the other hand leaves much to be desired. The grammatical gender is consistently wrong and messes with my reading rhythm. Better proofreading should be a demand.

It's an excellent novel with an interesting storyline and well-written characters, but I have to say that the translation is rather subpar and even gets progressively worse in the latter half of the novel with a lack of proofreading which doesn't do the author's work justice.

The constant back and forth between past- and present tense makes it really hard to read and follow the story. Author, if you ever find the time (and energy) to proofread and update your chapters, it would make the reading experience so much more pleasant.

When you've stockpiled chapters like a busy little hamster, only for the stockpile to suddenly run out.😖

It started out so good, but then it just became drama, upon drama, upon drama after chapter 79. The story stops being about animals and instead gets replaced by cliché conflicts and drama where the FL constantly has to defend herself from scheming bitches and clear her name to the mindless netizens. The only reason why the score is 3.8 is because of the translation quality and the stability of updates; if not for them the score would have been 3.

Looking forward to see Jake continue to shine and get his well deserved accolades by his peers. I know he really just wants to crawl into a hole because of his shyness, but I like it when he gets a confidende boost.[img=recommend]
