Thanks for your questions. 1. I believe most of the Chinese authors who have novels translated on Webnovels seldom (at least not so often) read English comments due to the language barrier. 2. I got inspired from reading classic western fantasy novels (LotR, asoiaf, The Chronicles of Amber, The Farseer Trilogy, Neil Gaiman, Brandon Sanderson…)，and from some of my master program classes (about state, society building & development…), and from of course ample documents of ancient Chinese history.
