Old and pessimistic. Pardon me if I call you out on your stupidity. That's just how I am.

First of all, his cat Lily is annoying and I wish she didn't exist. With that out of the way, the novel is alright. At least up until the 500's where I am currently. There's a ton of water, and honestly, I pretty much skip every training chapter entirely and quickly skim through the panagea chapters. They are just boring and pointless. At the start, it seemed like it would be a nice story about a powerful and apathetic store owner, but unfortunately the author adds limitations to the characters growth. Despite supposedly being OP, for the first 300 chapters at least, he's not strong enough. Later on he advances to reach the peak of the weakest universe and I thought that was great, but unfortunately the author thought it was a great idea to keep introducing powerful people and making the protagonist seem like trash in comparison. That really sucked and was completely unnecessary. The author did also admit that he forced that unnecessary bullshit in there for "character growth". Unfortunately, the only thing that grew from that addition was my disinterest in continuing to read this novel. An OP protagonist should never be weaker than the enemies he encounters. So damn sad that he's pissing himself and getting told he can't win fights all of sudden. It was pretty good up until this point. As for the writing and grammar, well, there are a lot of mistakes. Awkward terminology, wrong terminology, missing words and the most annoying mistake of all that has continued all the way to chapter 500 (and will probably continue until the end of the novel)... The authors misuse of "Would" when he means to use "Will". So any term similar to "I will xxx", will instead say "I would xxx". I will eat - I would eat. I will buy it - I would buy it. I will do it - I would do it. You get the point. It's so annoying and I can't believe he managed to write so many chapters without anyone telling him.
Why is nobody mentioning the protagonist's extreme obsession with his mother? Always acting lovey dovey with her. Considers her the most beautiful woman. Everything he does, he does for her. He asks her for her opinion and permission regarding any choices to be made. She is the only one he trusts and cares about. That shit is not natural and the author clearly needs to seek professional help if he's actually like that in real life. Jesus Christ...
My guy, if it takes 600 chapters to reach the Golden Core stage, it's slow. Absolute snail pace.
I read up to chapter 153 and by God, this is the biggest piece of garbage I've read in years. The protagonist is the biggest coward ever. Even when he finally gains some strength... like 100 chapters in (he's practically weak and useless for the first 100 chapters), all he wants is to hide away, avoid fights and run back home. He is very strong at that point, but he doesn't dare to show anyone. He doesn't dare to fight in front of others and will pretend to be weak if he must. Every enemy fills him with fear. Every monster he meets makes his legs tremble. Speaking to others makes him stutter. He's such an embarrassment. Just full of paranoia and fear of everything, no matter how much he experiences or how strong he is. And because he's a coward that hides his strength, everyone can also just constantly bully him without him daring to speak up, so enjoy that. And don't get me started on his IQ. The first few chapters were alright, but his IQ quickly dropped to room temperature values. In Celsius. He's a complete piece of garbage existence with absolutely no redeeming qualities to his personality. If you can even call it that. Don't waste your time on this garbage. You will be disappointed if you have any expectations whatsoever. And I truly feel sorry for anyone who read more than 100 chapters of this. If you did, and enjoyed it, this novel most likely caused you severe brain damage. See a doctor ASAP. I saw others compare it to Shadow Slave, a novel I've avoided because it sounded like it has a weak garbage protagonist. Thanks for the tip. Now I know for sure not to waste my time on it.
Just right after this, I started reading chapter 281 and that was enough to make me drop the novel immediately. The author's lack of IQ has been shown previously in the novel, since most events and reactions have been completely illogical. If the author isn't smart, then the people in the novel naturally won't be either. But how he treated a president in that chapter just showcased his ignorance way too hard, to the point where I couldn't overlook it anymore. I know it's a fictional novel, but if you're going to use real people in it, you should be accurate to their real character and situation instead of spreading slanderous implications due to personal bias. Such a thing can even be grounds for suing.
Started reading this again from the start. Getting close to chapter 300, but the protagonist is still a major coward that hides his tech. It gets so boring having to read shit like "It looks like a normal gun, but it isn't". "Looks like a normal car, but it isn't", looks like a normal submarine, jet fighter or private jet... but it isn't!". Jesus Christ, he's so focused on hiding and being a coward that I'm losing my mind in sheer annoyance. Is it really that hard for an author to create an honest protagonist that isn't ruled by paranoia and fear? Why is spineless always the default go-to nature when designing a character... I really enjoy the type of novel this is, with a system and super tech. The only huge downside is the protagonist's cowardly nature, which removes the enjoyment factor you're supposed to get. He doesn't help the world by providing technological advancements. He only helps himself, and releases slightly better crap to the rest of the world. He doesn't stand up for himself openly when bullied. He just cowardly schemes behind the scenes. Overall, it just feels like it has such an enormous potential, but it's ruined by a spineless shit protagonist that has a hard-on for hiding and doing "behind the scenes" scheming. I really don't know if I can continue reading. Almost 300 chapters in and he's still a bitch. And now he started wasting time on women too, which adds absolutely nothing to the novel. I feel like he's not going to grow any balls at this rate, which makes me think that I'm just wasting my time trying to reach that point. It may never happen.
Low profile cowardice.
It's really not bad. The only downside so far is what always plagues Chinese novels- a cowardly protagonist. Always so scared of potential trouble and terrified of standing out, limiting their growth and future accomplishments... If it wasn't a novel, such spineless people would never amount to anything in life.
I'm giving it a high rating, because I like the fact that the protagonist is not the default cowardly Chinese template protagonist. Protagonist has balls, he's strong and doesn't feel the need to hide his abilities, which would have hindered his growth otherwise. Other readers are too used to spineless protagonists and have already started to think that being a coward and hiding your abilities is only natural. But no, in reality, it's not only stupid, but also boring to read about.
I disagree. It would be better to have a commander level skeleton to take charge before creating more soldier types. Or to make it simpler, 1 Tier 3 to command the Tier 2. Not only that, it would be better for his personal safety to have a competent Tier 3 bodyguard than a bunch of stupid tier 2. Don't forget that the protagonist is a coward and a weakling. He will focus on his personal safety, regardless of how silly it is. Chinese protagonists are usually cowards after all.
