...it's not about the power level...it's about whether a boy dreams to be like the hero or the villain. Those last chapters also didn't exist when the MC was a child watching Dragon Ball Z...
I don't get this. Is he getting Christian Bale as a slave or something? Isn't that something he CAN get with money?
Why must you put shit like this here? You are basically locking yourself in a single mindset. Now, if he sees a starving child and somehow wants to help him he won't be able to because that is a Good thing and not an Evil thing. Unless the alignment changes(then it's useless to put it at the start of the story when he didn't even had time to breathe in the new world) your MC is already mind controlled.
Chinese logic, that's what's stopping him...Somehow this fic runs on some very specific rules...
I know of a 12 yo boy who spends about that much on mobile games in a month...some people have too much money.
...most dream to be like Goku, but sure, there are some snowflakes who dream to be like Frieza.
I think you are missing the fact that the major differences in power happen when the realm changes. This was pretty much established in the original novel. Yun che mostly never cared if he fought a level 1 or a level 8, only time the dificulty semed to increase was when he fought a level 9 on the brink of leveling up the the next stage. Also, beasts are usually more powerful then cultivators if you don't take techniques into account(the sacred grounds don't really have good fighting techniques). Dragons even more so. That's why I felt like the MC was overreacting. The old man is also missing an arm from when he punched the barrier full strength. That's a massive injury.
Is he for real? He made a 4th level DRAGON run away in fear(then on shot him, but that can be debated), how is a crippled old man a problem? Even if he is 3 level's higher?
I think you lost the point of this paragraph. Here, the Mc said he could be considered a god. Not that he is god. Jesus, in the Bible, even, was considered a go by the peasants he met based on his miraculous feats. It doesn't matter weather he was/wasn't a god. It's just that he could be considered one.
Again, an useless expanse of energy. If he flaps at lightspeed, while allowing normal physics to interact with him, he won't go flying at lightspeed, he'll just destroy the continent he's on.
