I'm sorry that this chapter has made you feel this way. My intention was never to make it seem forceful since I wanted Alice to fail at least one hunt. Anything less than on the level of an Apostle didn't seem suitable since she's shown that she can contend against Lords. Of course, looking back, there are multiple factors that could've been done differently to make this seem less forced. For that, I can only say sorry for disappointing you.

The answer to this would be to consider Cayla's nature as the eyes of the Abyss. She is connected to the realm on a deeper level and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that if someone wants to dispel it using the first method, they would need to drain the Abyss dry.
