Shameless Translator here, just picked this up after it was dropped by a translation group (they don't exist no more) that translated 10~ish chapters 4 something years ago and now I remembered their rendition of the translation that was then I realized they didn't do a proper job at all. So here i am back to translating it from the very beginning to fix and and avoid messy translations and terms used for characters, weapons, locations and enemies. Godspeed.

Shameless Translator here, just picked this up after it was dropped by three other translation groups that translated here and there and bit by bit they did and then I just continued after it making familiar terms and character names consistent made by earlier translations (If they didn't change the first translation terms in the first place i.e. the MC's name which went by "Yuri Grail" then I might as well keep it the same in the first place) and then i decided I might as well finish the damn job. Spoiler Alert: Something spicy does happen in the later chapters. :)

No mate, a flintlock's a muzzleloader (you put boolets infront of the barrel then push it down) and a breechloader is like your nrmal modern age firearms but in this case something liek a revolver

With new innovations comes new technologies where new faculties can make better equipment. Also Berengar's Chem Labs just recently produced primers essentially making proper brass rounds (not guncotton rounds nor wooden rounds) that will dramatically increase both firepower and rate of fire. They might transition in the near future from using bolt-actions to semi-automatic/ automatic fire weapons being the standard.

The new guns that Berengar made are for Covert Operations, ya know quick 1v1 fights that's why he made lugers and bolt actions where both can be silenced. In war however isn't a quick 1v1 gunfight, thing's a war of attrition where volume of fire makes up with the lack of accuracy.

I don't know why this exists in this site at all nor why did this translator even bother start to translate this particular novel at all. Why? Because there's already 1500+ chapters that have been professionally translated and edited by a group of professionals in another site. My question to the "author" and similarly the "translator" to even bother re-translating an already translated masterpiece that has to even end yet. Is it because out of the boredom of nothing to do during the pandemic? Or is it trying to earn some internet clout by doing something nonsensical? I don't even know why I'm making this review anyways.
