Yeah, you're right. My comment was before the Courtney follow-up chapter... At the time I was going off his interaction with the Goddess+ Courtney's hallway encounter... so I assumed it would be the whole being looked down cliche, so that he'll enslave them all... I am glad I was wrong 😁👍

I would have to disagree with your usage of "kids" since fantasy worlds are usually equivalent to medieval settings... Thus It's not unusual to enlist soldiers from 12 yrs and older... For instance between the 14th and 19th centuries, the Ottoman empire trained elite infantry units known as Janissaries whose soldiers were as young as 7 years old... So yes 17 and 18 year olds should be considered as adults in their world... women having children (plural) as young as 12 was also a common occurrence ~

Kinda makes sense, if they are barely able to collectively defeat the demon king as opposed to a single individual with the potential power to mop the floor with the demon king and by extension the other gods. 😅
