Avid Novel Reader. Got introduced to Light Novels with Overlord (but at that time it felt like a normal novel due to its format) otherwise I started reading LN's and WN's in May 2017 with MGA.

Bro played too much tennis with Yukimura from Prince of Tennis.
Read till Chapter 23 and I am really starting to give up. It's like the combination of Harry and our MC was Izuku Midoriya. A cry baby who only makes rash decisions and then blames it all on 'I am a Hero/I am a Gryffindor/I am Harry Potter'. Everyone is against him except for Fleur and his family and he is still in blind hopes of changing them. I hate this so much. He is weak but jumps to solve everything.
Umm, Kreacher could not destroy the Horcrux. He was an elf. Umm, maybe make it that it requires multiple elves with a bond to the same master to do it, coz then it would make sense that Kreacher could not destroy it despite knowing how to and that was what was driving him mad and why he tried so many methods to destroy it.
Logic less novel, the reviews saying that this is a bad novel are absolutely correct. There was a lot of scope but the author has no talent to make use of it. It is a pretty generic novel. Some spoilers not mentioned in other comments: - The principal finds out he has 3 superpowers (no clue how) - Black holes from which monsters pour out, but they are just pets of 10,000 races, and yet the government makes a plan (godslayer) to send kids trained for 6 months to that place along with one teacher (no background and no logic - understood that only kids could go, but then the teacher can also go. why only a team of 6?) - This godslayer plan is for all of humanity. But no resources are given to the team. No equipment, no medicines, no escape routes, no protective gear, no training resources, no combat skills, nothing but they casually hand out 50,000 A grade equipment to mercenaries who were present when MC came back after being lost for 4 months (the plan starts after MC comes back and he still only has B Grade equipment). - MC parents backstory is so cringe and no reason is given why principal does not say where his parents are. (only expressed through concern in his eyes and deep regret). - Learning about and using black hole powers is forbidden (understood from 10,000 races perspective), but why are humans also against it when it is shown that humans are on the verge of being wiped out? What nonsense. Humans would do anything to protect themselves, but no. Let's not study the phenomenon that actually brought destruction and go with the bullshit cultivation system that is dependent on luck. Stopped reading at ch93
So, it was a different kind of read at the start, but then things progress so hectically that cultivation levels are not explained and keep changing as the story progresses. Also, dead guys loyal to MC pop up after a few chapters without any explanation. Then there is the auction which becomes monotonous very quickly because the author spends a lot of time writing stuff that has no meaning. The audience explains the use of the item and then the bidding in the chapter and that is the last we will ever hear of it. Why go into detail explaining all this. Also, tiers do not make sense because cultivation does not make sense. Dropped. English is passable and though there are some mixed up he's and she's and some with the numbers, it is much better compared to MTL's.
It started of really good. The side character has to kill the protagonist, and how he has to slowly strip away the fortunes of the protagonist one by one. The build was also similar that he would have to do that for different types of protagonists. But this only happens for the first one. Then he becomes the protagonist, and the story derails. This is also fine. But then suddenly, out of nowhere, around chapter 400, you see the end scenario. The MC was in the lower world, with his cultivation base at just the 5th realm. It felt so rushed, and it felt like a completely different novel. It no longer felt like a system novel. All the things about the Devil and Luck and System should have come much much later. I would have preferred to see him deal with various protagonists in various different ways in the cruel world rather than him becoming one and having his own plot armour (one that he did not make for himself). And so my review, is it a good novel? Yes. Does the novel become something different later on? Absolutely.
Currently at Ch 395. It starts interesting, and we can see that the MC is overpowered, but it is constantly reinforced that it is also due to hard work. His achievements could also be replicated by others if they were as hardworking as him. But then it all falls downhill once the world building and concept of humanity is brought in. If anyone has read Martial World, this also gives a similar feeling. The sort of depressing feeling that humanity has just no hope. This is a similar story. There is no hope for the society as a whole. Spoiler: What humans treasure as Blessed Techniques are the basic techniques widespread by the foreign races. What humans think to be the foreign races experts are actually 3rd rate characters like butlers and servants. The author, despite all this, has the leisure to play around with slavery and the evilness of humans. There is no positivity in this novel. It is just plain depressing. Also, the MC is cold towards his Masters, whom he trusts, but is kind to strangers (who are likely to become enemies with him). There is also the sudden shift in mood changes of the MC and the tone of the story when talking about his soulbonds. There are some spelling and grammar mistakes. The author has tried to put in so much and so many enemies that the situation is no longer a David and Goliath but more like Sheep and Goliath. Also, now that the story is finished at 1115 chapters and the progress of his cultivation at 395, he has not even crossed through the first major step and there should be at least 5 of them .So I wonder how rushed it will be later. Major Spoilers: To give an idea of how far the story has progressed: From lowest to highest: 1. C-Grade City. 2. Capital City of Island Controlled by a Clan. 3, Mainland (which is also a side island compared to the world - think Hawaii) 4. Humanity (Multiple Clans) 5. Mainland on Planet 6. Planet is infant of lower worlds 7. Other lower worlds 8. Middle or Higher Worlds 9. Universe At 395, he is only crossed through the second and is still not reached 3rd. And there is a war looming with foreign races (which is laughable). So, now you know what to expect.
