Very well put and right on the nose. I do see how exploring other realities would go. Primarily from third person pov there is a lot of potential, but sadly I don't want to write about Azazel anymore and I feel like this novel would only get worse if I continued without that drive.

I'm not sure how to say this, but the last few chapters left a bad taste. Not only because of Xiao Li, but because of the sister and aunt as well. It feels like all of them are just a bunch of snakes manipulating him to an outcome regardless of what he thinks about it. It doesn't matter how justified their reasons are, in the end they deemed that his decision making that needs to be influenced, which shows what they think about his opinions...

That is kind of the point why the mc is confused and doesn't know when something happened. The timing isn't specified just that it happened in Tatsumakis lore. Since it doesn't appear in Azazel's there is a mismatch in their lores, so the NPCs interpret their lore into a fabricated mismatched timeline. What the mc doesn't know is that the first thing mentioned goes and the npcs would have just accepted it as a truth
