Chapter 17

Yun Xie opened the door, rudely walking into Li Qi Ye's adobe. He and Mu Shaohuang had talked for a bit and became acquaintances. They had confronted the elders, who quickly went on their normal boot-licking to some stronger routine, and did not dare doubt them.

Yun Xie had headed to Li Qi Ye's adobe as he once again, had nothing better to do.

It was a boring life but showed that Yun Xie really did not have any troubles. No gray hair soon it seems….

Also, it showed that, unlike every other cultivation mc, he had no enemies. But that was probably because they were all six feet under by now….

Inside, Li Qi Ye was hard at work, with a few dozen scrolls and booklets next to him. He read through it quite quickly, eyes darting from page to page. Probably trying to memorize the Physique Scripture.

"Sup." Yun Xie waved to Li Qi Ye, who looked up from his desk, the light of a candle illuminating his face.

"What brings you her- Oh wait. You are probably just bored right?" Li Qi Ye sighed, knowing this guy's character. It was pretty easy to grasp.

"Yup! How did you know?" Yun Xie sat down in a chair, his words dripping with sarcasm. He jostled a random bonsai plant, as Li Qi Ye went back to work, writing down some apparently important stuff.

Yun Xie knew that Li Qi Ye was doing something right now, and he could interrupt, but…. The guy would just go back to work. So there was no point. The guy literally continued working until morning. Dark Crow indeed. Same sleep habits.

Yun Xie was not exhausted in the slightest, as the Senzu bean completely rejuvenated him.

Mu Shaohuang was strong. Well, if he went all out, the old man would be completely decimated…. But there would not be much thrill to that.

Their final attacks created a crater that probably extended two times deeper than the Mariana Trench…

Only a few Elders knew what actually happened, but the whole entire sect was in a buzz about it.

As for the two rats in the sect, they did not seem to be making any moves or were completely oblivious to the situation. Yun Xie really wanted to check out the Jewel Kingdom or whatever. So right now, he was brainstorming how to infiltrate the Sect. He could just run or fly over there and just be himself…. But Yun Xie wanted to do something interesting.

All those novels where the main character killed a guy and pretended to be him in order to infiltrate a sect was his inspiration. Except this time, Yun Xie would be doing it, not for resources, or to kill anyone, but just to be a toxic troll….

He was also planning on roleplaying someone else.

It would be fun. Yun Xie would just send a clone there. One that had the same strength as him, and was him. He did not want any of that stupid Twice stuff, so Yun Xie would just send a shadow clone.

"Heh." Yun Xie laughed maliciously, with Li Qi Ye pausing. Putting down his brush, Li Qi Ye felt a slight chill go up his spine. Strange. Yun Xie was plotting something.

Yun Xie got up, slapping Li Qi Ye on the back, before exiting through the side window.

"Seriously? Can't you just exit normally?" Li Qi Ye yelled at Yun Xie's disappearing form.

Next-Day….

"Hmph! You are that so-called expert?" Leng Shizhi laughed disdainfully at Yun Xie, who was currently eating a piece of crab pig.

Yun Xie looked up, sighing.

He was really tired, and before his next grand plot, he wanted to take a little break. Wait… This guy was that Cao dude's disciple right? If he beat the living crap out of this guy, wouldn't the rat come to try to take revenge as normal? Then, he could just beat the crap out of the rat, and then use some transformation jutsu and Nen ability stuff and do the whole infiltration thing!

"Perfect." Yun Xie muttered. Walking over to Leng Shizhi, before asking something: "Wanna die?".

Leng Shizhi shivered, before backing away, infuriated. "You dare! Bastard, courting death!"

Shizhi charged forwards spear in hand, blood wheel flaring.

"Umm…. I did not know people were so easily infuriated….?" Yun Xie casually dodged it, and punched Leng Shizhi in the face.

"Not so tough now? Little Cat…." Yun Xie kicked and stomped Leng Shizhi a few more times, before leaving.

(A/N: If got this right, "Shizhi", means Lion in mandarin.)

This would piss off the Cleansing Incense Sects elder quite a bit….

A few Minutes Later….

"You dare! How dare an outsider act so-"

"BAM!" Yun Xie dragged the Cao dude away, the poor guy's nose bleeding. After finding a secluded area, Yun Xie looked down at the rat's face, pointing his finger at him.

"You bastar-" Cao Xiong yelled, teeth falling to the ground.

"Higan: Fire Gun." Yun Xie mercilessly disposed of the guy. Why he did not just finish him off before. Well….. Yun Xie had watched too many spy movies in his previous life….. Plus, the dude was going to die later anyway...

After using some jutsu to completely bury Cao Xiong's corpse, Yun Xie flashed a few hand signs, and with a poof of smoke, an identical Yun Xie appeared right next to himself.

"This feels weird…." The other Yun Xie inspected himself, before flashing some more hand signs and transforming into Cao Xiong. "How do I look, man?" Transformed Yun Xie looked up at Yun Xie.

"Nice." Yun Xie smiled. Everything was in place. The Jewel Something kingdom would be in for a ride… Or was it the something Jewel Kingdom? He forgot if that noun or whatever went before or after "Jewel"….

A Week Later….

The real Yun Xie walked down Cleansing Incense Sects' main market, his clone, "Cao Xiong", had already gone out on a supposed "mission" somewhere.

He had just gotten some groceries and was gonna go interrupt Nan Huai Ren and Li Qi Ye to have a hotpot with him. He could just use the Creation quirk to create the ingredients, but…. Atmosphere. Mood. All the basic crap you learned in English class, well if you ever had or took English…..

Some of the inaccessible stuff was created using his Quirk though. Yun Xie walked up the Lonely Peak, humming a little song.
