World Ender: I Destroy the Worlds for a Living

“If the world wants me gone, then it’s only fair that I destroy it in return, right?” ————— Ever since I can remember, the world has been trying to kill me off by sending various accidents my way. Cars, trucks, buildings falling apart, gas explosions, earthquakes, floods… Even such ridiculous things as falling pianos. I had innumerable near-death experiences. All because I don’t belong. But I guess it’s a small price to pay, cause in return, I am not bound by any laws governing the reality. I can do whatever I want. Once things start getting out of control, I can just destroy the world and move on to a new one. I could just live an easy and carefree dream life, with no effort or consequences. Or so I thought… ----NOTICE---- Although MC may flirt with different girls over the course of the story, this is NOT a harem. No collecting girlfriends or wives. The romance part will start a bit later, and there will be only one female lead. Also, no NTR.

F**k this world

"Emma, are you listening!?" The redheaded girl was getting impatient.

I clicked my tongue, annoyed. "Oh, just shut the fuck up, will you? It has nothing to do with you."

She heaved loudly, looking deeply offended. Then she turned around. "That's it. I'm calling the police."

Oh no, you don't.

I quickly sprang out off the sofa and in one quick leap caught up to her. I grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head against the wall. She immediately went limp, but just to be sure, I crushed her throat. As I let go of her neck, she fell down on the ground with a thud.

"So, where were we?" I went back to Emily, Emma, or whatever her name was.

She was still lying on the sofa, naked except for her skimpy panties. "Hic!" Her shoulders were shaking as she choked on the tears streaming down her face. She wasn't able to see what happened, but she probably guessed based on the sound of the body dropping on the floor, and the complete silence that followed.

I let out a sigh. Why were people so emotional? And over such small things. She was still alive and well, after all. It was only her housemate that died. Nobody would miss such an annoying bitch anyway.

"Alright, look. Emma, was it?" I spoke in a quiet and calm voice, trying to pacify her somehow. "Let's ignore what just happened. I don't mean you any harm. We can have some fun for now, and then I'll leave you alone in the morning. How does that sound, hmm?"

"Hic!" She was still unable to utter a word, and kept looking at me with terror in her eyes. I guess she must have realized I'm not the James she knew by now. Took her long enough.

I glanced down. Both her panties and the sofa underneath her were completely soaked. Seems she peed herself out of fear.

Now that's a turn-off. I guess that's it for tonight. I started buttoning my shirt, as I went to the kitchen to get something to drink.

The girl was constantly crying and hiccuping on the sofa. It was getting really annoying. I originally planned to let her be, since it didn't matter if she reported me. The police were already looking for me anyway. But I needed to somehow relieve my frustration.

I grabbed a knife and went over to the sofa. Her eyes widened at the sight.

"It's nothing personal. No need to be so afraid, really. This world will be gone in a few months anyway. You're not losing much," I consoled her before slashing her throat.

I looked at my hand, soaked in her blood. Killers in the movies are sometimes shown licking it off, but I find it really stupid. I've tried it before as a teen, and there's absolutely nothing alluring about it. Blood doesn't taste good, so metallic and rusty.

Killing her didn't help much, I was still very much pissed off. I put on my jacket and went outside to cool down, slamming the door behind me.

It was raining heavily, but I didn't mind. It actually felt rather good. Moreover, thanks to the weather, the streets were almost empty, as everyone hid from the rain. Well, it was already past midnight, so there shouldn't be many people wandering around anyway.

This world was so annoying, nothing really went my way. As soon as things were beginning to look up, they would come crashing down immediately after.

I kicked a can lying on the sidewalk.

Honestly, fuck this world.

I lifted my arm and tore a trashcan from the ground and lifted it up in the air, squeezing it tight.

If things were going to be like that, then there was no need for me to hold back. Let's just start destroying this world so I can move on to the next one.

Once the trashcan was bent and compressed, I threw it to the side, shattering the big windows of a convenience store nearby. A shop assistant behind the register was staring at it in disbelief. His eyes soon turned to the streets and caught sight of me. With a wave of my hand, I collapsed the shelves behind him, crushing him completely.

I was nowhere near satisfied. I turned toward the fire escape stairs nearby, and bent my fingers, twisting the metal railing. Then I tore it away from the wall, and threw it up, crashing it into a top floor of an apartment building.

I clenched my fists, making all the windows nearby explode. Then I crushed the cars standing by the side of the road, one by one.

Breathing heavily, I looked at the destruction I caused. This, combined with the cold rain, made me calm down a bit. I still wanted to do more, but I knew it wasn't a reasonable decision. The more I break the reality laws, the more intensely the world will hunt me. I should get more sleep before I go full-on out.

I found shelter from the rain and scooped out the cigarette pack from my pocket. The cigarettes felt slightly damp, but thankfully they haven't got soaked completely. I took one out and lit it.

I noticed a man with an umbrella staring at me, seemingly shocked. Did he see me? Well, whatever.

I focused on a billboard hanging above him. With a flick of the wrist, I made it fall crashing down on the man. It was better to get rid of any witnesses whenever possible. Being seen breaking the reality laws also contributed to the intensity of the hunt, after all.

Once I finished my cigarette, I was ready to return to the apartment. Both women died before they could call the police, so it should be fine for me to stay there, at least for tonight. I dropped the cigarette butt on the ground and was on my way.

And then it happened again. That unsettling feeling.

Immediately on high alert, I quickly surveyed my surroundings.

Then, I moved to the side, dodging the incoming bullet.

Ahem, someone seems to be having some anger issues.
