After my introduction, the three of them suddenly stirred from their seats.
"World breaker?! Is that like, a rare class or a unique one?! How did you get it?" The black-haired girl beside me, Mina, quickly grabbed my hand.
Unlike her quiet appearance earlier, she was overly excited all of a sudden. This reaction is exactly the same as the Mina I know from Lost Age. "So you're really Mina? This isn't one of Toki's pranks, right?"
I can't help but be skeptical since I have fallen for a lot of her traps before. Mina, noticing that she was grabbing my hand, lightly cleared her throat as she moved back to her chair.
"W-Well, I am 100% the Mina that you know from Lost Age," she whispered while scratching her cheeks. "Was my in-game attitude that different?"
"No, rather than different, it was almost identical, so I was convinced." I sighed. "Also, to answer your question, I'm not actually sure."
Using that as an icebreaker, I started talking to them about what happened for the past week in brief. About the golden status and how there were hundreds of class choices that appeared. Hearing this, the four of them even pegged me to list all the classes that were shown, but I could only recall those that left a deep impression on me.
"All I could recall, other than the various crafting classes, were the last options: things like Hero, Demon Lord, Protagonist, and a bunch of question marks."
"I guess you don't need the protagonist one from there." Toki chuckled lightly, her eyes narrowing down to slits as she teased. "After all, you're definitely already living the life of a harem protagonist."
I raised my hand to chop at Toki's head, but she blocked it perfectly, as if reading my mind. "I'm not, okay?!"
"Rather than that, I wonder what the Hero and Demon Lord classes do? Will you need to go on forced quests, or do you need to conquer the world or something?" The blonde little girl, Lily, asked.
"Ah, I was wondering about that too!" Hailey added from the side. "So far, the nanomachines seem to be giving stat boosts related to your class, so I guess those two would give you a general boost for all stats!"
Mina turned to me while listening to them talk, asking "Right, your World Trigger class, is it a battle-type class? Or is it a support class?"
"World Breaker, not Trigger. And I think it's a crafting class since it gave a 50% boost to all my life skills like crafting and dismantling."
Before I noticed it, we were all chatting normally, as if we were back at the group chat. I guess the opening topic being something we're all invested in worked wonders.
"But really, Ruin is amazing! I recall you saying you were only level one last week, and now you're even higher than me in terms of level!" Lily suddenly changed topics, praising me for my achievement.
Lily was a healer, so she couldn't really hunt by herself... At least not for now. Seeing that her level was still relatively high, she must be hunting with her schoolmates or friends, but her pace was limited by theirs, so she's pretty low level.
Back in the game, she was known as the tankiest healer, able to waltz through battlefields without as much as batting an eyelid. She was even able to hold back a thousand-strong army of monsters during a defensive-type quest alone. It was reaching the point that, other than our guild members, there was literally nobody else able to even push her to half-health.
"Lily's right. Mina and I even went on a hunting spree, but we could only raise our levels by a few in the end." Hailey shrugged her shoulders, letting her red hair flow down her chest. "Even the Spear Toki lent to me was all battered now."
"Spear..."
Wait, am I forgetting something...? Hearing Hailey's words made me stop listening altogether and begin to recall all the events I explained earlier. One by one.
'Right, Kyouya's Lance!'
I completely forgot to return it! Rather, where did I even place it...? Back at our destroyed home? Did I leave it in my room?
"Excuse me for a moment."
I muttered lightly before walking to the furthest corner of the floor, taking out my phone, and dialing Kyouya's number. The first batch of rings was ignored, so I tried again. After the third ring, this time, the other side finally picked up.
"(Haaa... Haaa... Mahiro? What's wrong?)" Kyouya sounded tired across the phone, panting heavily.
"Oh, were you busy? I can call back later if you are."
"(No, it's fine. I was just practicing in our dojo. So? What's the matter?)"
While scratching my cheeks, I breached the topic directly. "It's about your lance I borrowed... I forgot to return it."
"(Haha, well duh! It's fine, though, take your time. That's just my portable lance anyway, my real weapon is in my hands right now.)"
"Also, I... broke it..."
It wasn't broken completely but was bent slightly. I guess using it as a javelin wasn't something I should've done. The weapon's balance would be disturbed due to that, lowering its performance as a weapon.
Kyouya stayed silent on the other side until I heard a deep sigh. "(I see... Then forget it. It's nothing much, anyway. But you owe me one, alright?)"
"Okay." I nodded. "Then I'll make a replacement for you. Any request? A lance, spear?"
"(You can make weapons? Then a Bardiche, please. Take your time, though, as my current weapon is still usable until I reach mid-level of Intermediate Class.)"
So a weapon for md-level intermediate class and above? "Noted. Then, keep your expectations high; I'll make sure to overtake all your imaginations."
"(Hahaha, what confidence. Alright. Later then... Well, I don't think school would resume anytime soon, though.)"
The monster attack just ended, after all. Not only were the repairs to damaged facilities not finished, but there was also the risk of a second wave of attacks.
"Then I'll just call you when I complete it. Take care!" I muttered before turning off the phone.
Thankfully, he wasn't too angry at me for destroying his weapon. Well, I'm thankful for his weapon either way, as it was able to do its job and protect me against those powerful monsters.
"I guess I'll pull my weight for his weapon later," I firmly declared.
After the short call, I returned to the table where the girls were talking. Their talk was about weapons and armor now, probably after hearing my earlier talk with Kyouya. When I sat down, Hailey immediately pegged me, her eyes sparkling with expectation.
"Right, Ruin! We discussed before that as a substitute for my destroyed spear, I'll be the first one to commission you for a weapon!"
"First?"
I turned to Toki, who had already commissioned over a hundred wands from me. Her gaze was telling me to stay quiet, though, so I held my tongue. "Then, is the same type as the one in Lost Age fine?"
Hailey was known for her astonishing damage output in Lost Age. There was almost nothing she couldn't kill in a single hit, making her a fearsome opponent. Although her stats, titles, and skills were a large part of it, her weapon was definitely the main reason for her feat.
A weapon with extremely high damage scaling but unbelievably low durability. It was a rare drop from a boss monster, so she used that all the way until she joined our guild. In the end, I made one that possessed higher damage scaling and higher durability, which further enhanced her powers.
"Can you do that?!" She beamed with joy. "Ah, but please make it more durable... Something that can support a ton of weight, if possible."
"Sure, no problem. But the materials..." If it's material that can hold tons of load, then the choices would be extremely limited.
"Ah, use the beetle boss's parts for that. Use anything that you need from my share~!" She smiled sweetly.
Her words reminded me of the Beetle boss and made me a little depressed, though: "Materials..."
I was originally slated to get 30% of the boss's materials if my deal with Toki was completed, but I guess it's fine now. I have the materials from the roaming boss, Rampaging Bull, now, after all! It will still take a little time before I can use its materials, but it should be better than the beetle boss.
"Then I'm next!" This time, Lily raised her hand, bringing attention to herself. "I want a robe made from the wings of the beetle boss. Something that's light and easy to move in."
"Noted. How about a weapon?"
Lily was the closest to me in terms of weapon choice; after all, her healer class uses either a staff or a club, both technically blunt weapons. "Then... a mace? Something wieldy, but still packs a punch!"
I pondered for a little before agreeing. "I can do that. Next, Mina. How about you?"
Turning to the last one, Mina was deep in thought.
"My guns right now are still usable, so I guess only armor? I prefer light armor that doesn't hinder my movements."
I quickly took a mental note of her request... But then I suddenly recalled something. "Ah, but I need to get your sizes to create armor. Toki, can they visit the workshop tomorrow?"
I'm not really a seamstress, nor do I know how to properly take measurements, so having the person herself with me will make the crafting and adjustments faster. 'But the spear comes first... Well, I can finish that tonight.'
Toki didn't argue and immediately gave the OK. With that, I got the three girls to come visit the workshop tomorrow. I thought they would be happy now that their weapons and armor would be processed early, but their faces were slightly red. Are they embarrassed to share their three sizes, perhaps?
