It's been a week since then and Michael found himself enjoying teaching others almost as much as he enjoyed fighting and relaxing with his women, so much so that they started calling him a cringey name like ' The Professor '. He'd never admit it but he found it growing on him

Looking back at this week, Michael thought back to the progress he made in his own training, the training of the others along with the new mastery he gained over his skills

For one, his physical training, he found that he now had two different types of exercise skills, one that fell under his medical skill and one under his martial arts skills. As you can see from where they're grouped, they both have different ways at reaching the same goal

For example, the one under his medical skill taught him how to push his body to the limit while not leaving any permanent damage while the other thought him how to use all his strength and get the most out of any and every action

Which brought him a gain of 1 stat point on every stat, it might not seem like much but considering he's now 40 times stronger than a normal person and that there's no magic or anything, makes it a lot

On to the others, it only took a day for the others to reach 2 in all stats considering all they have to do is gain control of the strength they already have. I have my teaching skill to thank for that which becomes even more over powdered the higher the Tier

This past week with their training and my teaching they all managed to reach 4 in all their stats which made me confused before I understood. Using the Mortal Tier skills I thought them gave them an instant gain like if they leveled up in a game

I prove my theory when I checked the status of Yuuki and Shizuka, they had reached 20% Proficiency considering I couldn't give them that much help as I could now, but every 10% gave them 1 stat point hence why the massive difference in stats between them and the others in the beginning

' so considering they can only gain 10 stats points using a Mortal Tier Skill I have to speed up raising my own Proficiency so I could then teach them the Tier 1 version ' thought Michael with the wry smile, fucking heroines man

Outside of that Michael taught them the Mortal Tier version of his martial arts mastery after he found out he had gained all the information on it when it reached Tier 1 so it was simple to teach before he had them spar with each other since doing the same with zombies would be a death wish considering the virus and all

Speaking of the virus , a frown found it's way unto Michael's face, even with the rising Proficiency of his medical and biology skill, he still couldn't make heads or tails of the virus, meaning it's cause should be higher level than this world considering it was only a Tier 1 world which made things much more complicated than before

Shaking off the stray thoughts he focused back on what was happening before him, as he continued instructing the others in their archery practice. In the past week they went from complete novices to being able to hit targets with 100% accuracy withing 20m.

" why archery ? " asked Kohta as he sat on the ground gasping while trying to catch his breath as he looked at the blisters that formed in his palm

Glancing at him from the corner of his eyes, Michael got first hand evidence of how bullshit his skills were, Kohta in the pass week managed to lose 8kg, bringing his weight down to 80kg, what made him speechless was that there was no problems with his health at all when he checked him over

The dude also started to turned all that fact into muscle, he didn't grow any taller though which is weird, the way this is going he'll be like asta, I mean if that's your thing then who am I to judge

Shaking away those thoughts, Michael reached into his pocket and took out a black sphere drawing confused looks from Kohta, expecting this he called over everyone who looked at him weirdly since he never ended training early

Showing them the same sphere which gained the same looks Kohta gave him, only Saya watched it closely as she pushed her glasses up on her face

" is it some type of technology " she asked after pondering, nodding to her inquiry Michael pocketed it once again before he started

" this is something I was working on the past year, I call it the ' Dead zone ' " said Michael as he let that information sink in before someone spoke

" what does this ' dead zone ' do " asked Kyoka as she folded her arms under her breast

" the ' dead zone ' does exactly what it's name implies. It creates a dead zone where any and all technology made after 1900 stops working and this also includes any weapons. Leaving only cold weapons or " explained Michael before he pointed at the bow they carried causing looks of realization to flash on everyone's' face

" .....I'm not even going to ask how you created something that world changing in a year " murmured Saya before she continued " the use of something like that is evident but what is the range it can affect " she asked as she looked at me

" well considering I couldn't gain much access to the required materials to improve it, this only creates a 1km sphere of dead zone in which only we will be aware of, well until someones tries to use the technology . I don't need a bunch of trigger happy idiots firing at me " explained Michael nonchalantly as he laughed internally as he took in all of their expressions

" tch no wonder they were never any shoot outs whenever we had a gang war " murmured Yuuki but only loud enough that I heard but it seems that Saeko might have heard a bit as she looked between Yuuki and I with a frown

" well what are you waiting on, today's training is over. Rest well since we'll be leaving here tomorrow " said Michael as he made a shooing motion as everyone started going inside

Jumping up on the roof, Michael sat on the ledge as he overlooked the surrounding as he fell into his thoughts

' if this was the anime the emp would have already set off, causing technology tp become useless, since it hasn't mean everything isn't deteriorating at such a major speed ' thought Michael

This was the reason why he could be so calm and took out so much time to train the others while even taking the time to relax, I mean come on he even had the time to take apart empty homes to make those bows, along with some basic beds so everyone could get proper rest

Honestly, there's a reason he didn't tell everyone why he made them trade so much

Michael honestly didn't see the zombies as a threat,because outside of their virus he was sure he could kill them all on his own given enough time, the reason he didn't was because he couldn't give so much time to the other 4 in this world to gain strength

He may be nonchalant and carefree most of the time but he never let his guard down since he never knew when he might meet one of the others. He was strong but he didn't know what kind of system or perk they gained, making them an unknown threat but this thought also made him calm

' I just have to be so strong that no matter how strong their systems, that they're no threat to me ' thought Michael as he jumped off the roof to land in front of the

expectant Kyoka who clearly had just taken a bath

" it could be my narcissism but it seems that you might be excited about our date " teased Michael with a smile causing Kyoka to blush slightly before she took a deep breath to calm herself

" well at the end of the day I'm still a woman, of course i'll be nervous about my first date even if it's the end of the world " replied Kyoka as she took my his arm causing him to raise his eyebrow in surprise, causing her to look at him in mock anger

" what's that lock supposed to mean " she asked staring him down

Meeting her gaze Michael replied " I don't get it honestly, it confuses me as to why so many beautiful women are single, makes me wonder if something was wrong with the men in your lives " said Michael with a smile, smiling lightly at his praise Kyoka pulled his arms and they started walking down the empty street

" it's not that they never tried it's just that they do when I'm not interested in relationships but when I am, no one is interested and this loop continued and then one day I found myself older and still alone " said Kyoka as she looked at the sky, Michael just listened to her in silence

" you know you're pretty weird ? " said Kyoka suddenly surprising Michael

" how am I weird " asked Michael in genuine confusion as he looked at the shorter woman

" you're literally 40 times stronger than a normal man and you get stronger everyday, you're also extremely handsome but yet as the world ended, you never forced yourself on any of the beauties surrounding you, even though they might not resist and might be thankful for it since you could protect them, considering how most women would fair in this environment " explained Kyoka as she watched Michael's face for any change in expression only to see the same came smile

" you even take the time to get to know each girl individually as you court them, what are you? some perfect gentle man ? " asked Kyoka as she broke out laughing which made Michael smile as he thought of how to answer

" honestly, the stronger I get the longer my lifespan will become. Say I do win this bogus competition, I'd be standing at the peak of all dimensions but yet I'd be alone. So I'd rather spend that time with people who love me and want to spend how long my life will be with me than those I had to force and would accept death at the first chance " explained Michael, his words caused Kyoka to freeze as she stopped working

Stopping, he turned and looked at her before he continued

" and if all it takes is more time to gain a life long companion on my journey, I fail to see how it isn't worth it " said Michael with a bright smile as he reached out his hand to her causing Kyoka's heart to start racing
