Why Do I Lover Her?

Lucifer wakes up with arms thrown over his chest. He tries to get out of bed without disturbing the others. Lucifer then goes to his bathroom and has a shower. As he's showering Lucifer's phone rings. He peaks his head out to look at the caller ID. He picks it up after drying his hands on his towel.

"Hello detective." "Hey Lucifer we got a case." "Alright I'll see you soon. Just finishing my shower." "Okay. I'll meet you at the precinct." "Alright. See you shortly detective."

Lucifer hangs up and puts his phone down on the counter and finishes his shower. After drying off Lucifer gets dressed and leaves. At the precinct. Lucifer knocks on Chloe's office door. She looks up and smiles. "Morning." "Morning. Ready to go?" Chloe nods and grabs her keys. On the drive. "So about what happened last week. I'm sorry for the way I reacted." Lucifer smiles at Chloe. "It's okay detective. It wasn't fair for me to expect you to just accept me for who I am. For what I am." Once at the crime scene. "What do we have?" "Female single gunshot wound to the head. Seems like it was personal." "What makes you say that?" Chloe bends down next to the body with Ella. "See the mark around the wound?" Chloe nods. "It looks like the gun was held against her forehead while it fired." Ella nods. "Exactly." Chloe stands up straight. "Well text or call me when you have more information." Ella nods. "Of course." Chloe walks over to Lucifer. "Anything?" Lucifer shrugs. "Not much. Just that her name is Alexandra Wesley and she works at the cafe across the street there." Lucifer points to across the street. Chloe nods and smiles. "Well I'm gonna head back to the precinct and see if I can dig up more about her. You coming?" Lucifer smiles. "Not yet but maybe later." Chloe rolls her eyes. Lucifer chuckles and follows Chloe to the car. The two get in. Chloe drives off. "I have a question." "Go on detective." Chloe puts her hand down on the console. "Did you mean what you said last year?" Lucifer smiles. "You'll have to be more specific detective. I said a lot of things last year." Chloe stays quiet. Lucifer looks confused. It's when Chloe grabs his hand he understands what she was talking about. Lucifer chuckles. "Of course detective. I meant every word." Chloe nods. "I see. Then why you keep pushing away?" Lucifer looks out the window. "I don't know to be honest. I think I was scared you wouldn't accept me. I'm still not sure if you do. Now that you know all of me." Chloe stops the car in the parking lot to the precinct. The two get out. Chloe and Lucifer walk into the building. "Come with me." Chloe grabs Lucifer's hand and walks into the interrogation room and closes the doors. She turns off the cameras and closes the blinds. Chloe then turns to face Lucifer. "I do. I accept you for who you are. I accept that you're the devil. I accept that you are in love with me. I accept everything because I chose you. I choose you. I always will." "Even with this face?" Lucifer shows his true face. Chloe puts her hands on Lucifer's face and kisses him. "I'll always see you as my partner. Not as the devil. My partner." Lucifer's face goes back to normal. Lucifer and Chloe chuckle when they put their foreheads together. They then hug. "I love you for you." Lucifer nods. "Okay." Chloe goes to leave. Lucifer grabs her wrist. "What?" Lucifer kisses Chloe softly. "I love you more." Chloe giggles and punches Lucifer's shoulder gently. The two leave the room and Chloe goes to her office while Lucifer goes home. At Lux a few hours later. Lucifer is drinking when Chloe walks up to him. "Hey." Lucifer turns his head and smiles. "Hello detective. Any news about the case?" Chloe nods. "Can we speak in private?" Lucifer nods and walks up to his penthouse with Chloe following. The two sit on the couch. "So Alexandra had a boyfriend. They argued a lot but they were pretty solid. Other than him there was this guy she worked with and they never saw eye to eye so I consider him a suspect. Then there's this." Chloe hands over the file. Lucifer takes it and looks at the contents. "I know this place. It's up by the old library here in downtown LA." Chloe looks at the picture Lucifer was talking about. "Shall we go?" Chloe shakes her head. "We'll need a warrant and that'll take a few days so until then we search for anything else linking to this case." Lucifer nods. "So how much longer until you're off?" Chloe chuckles and sits on Lucifer's lap. "Who says you have to wait until then?" Lucifer smiles. "You sure?" Chloe shrugs. "There's no need for me at the precinct right now so. Why not?" Lucifer leans forward and kisses Chloe deeply. Chloe was about to take off her leather jacket when her phone rings. The two groan. "Everytime." Lucifer chuckles. "I know. You should answer it." Chloe grabs her phone.

"Decker." "Hey Chloe. The killer struck again."

Chloe sighs.

"Where?" "The park down by the old library." "Same gunshot wound?" "Afraid so." "I'll be there soon."

"Gotta go. Killer struck again." Chloe gets up. So does Lucifer and starts following Chloe. "You don't have to come." "Like shit I don't. I'm coming." Chloe shakes her head as she's smiling. The two get in the car and Chloe drives off. Once at the crime scene. The two get out. Lucifer looks around. "Something doesn't feel right." Chloe stops. "What do you mean?" "Get in the car and go. Please." Chloe looks confused. Lucifer opens the door and pushes Chloe in. "Go!" Gunshots can be heard. "Chloe go!" Lucifer runs to Ella and shields her with his wings. Chloe drives off. Ella grabs her bags and wraps them around her. "Got everything you needed to?" Ella nods. "All good." Lucifer nods and carries Ella to her car after picking her up. Ella puts her bags in the backseat and gets in after Lucifer puts her down. "I'll see you back at the precinct." Ella nods and drives off. After Ella is gone Lucifer brings down all the gunmen and brings them to the precinct to lock them up. "Here you are officers." The officers take the group of men to their holding cells. Chloe comes out of her office and leans against the doorframe. She smiles when Lucifer looks at her. He smiles back. Chloe motions for him to come over with her finger. Lucifer walks over. "What's up detective?" Chloe pulls Lucifer into her office and closes the door. "I want to do something before we head out again." Lucifer sits in Chloe's chair. A few minutes pass. Lucifer takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. The door to Chloe's office opens. "Oh sorry. I'll come back." Chloe finishes what she was doing and Lucifer grunts. "Well that was unexpected detective. Any reason for it?" Chloe stands up and shrugs. Lucifer finishes doing up his pants. "Just wanted to hold you off until later." Chloe kisses Lucifer's lips as she walks by. Lucifer smiles and walks a few steps behind Chloe. "I'm off to check out the crime scene again." The Lieutenant nods. Chloe smirks when she catches him looking up at her with her fingers intertwined with Lucifer's. Lucifer chuckles. "He's quite jealous. Did you two have a thing while I was in Hell?" Chloe shrugs. "Small thing. It got boring." Lucifer smiles. "He's an angel you know." Chloe and Lucifer get in the car. Chloe starts up the engine. "I know. That's why I got bored. There's only one I care about." Lucifer chuckles. "You know I'm not really an angel anymore right?" Chloe speeds off. "I know. You're still one to me though. Well you know what I mean." Lucifer nods. "I do detective." At the park. Chloe stops the car and gets out with Lucifer following. The two search the area for a good twenty minutes. Lucifer huffs. "Okay I'm calling it. There's nothing more here." Chloe nods. "I agree. Lets go back." Lucifer nods. The two get in the car. Chloe takes her hand off the keys and sighs. "I can't hold back anymore." Before Lucifer could reply Chloe was up and over the console and sitting on Lucifer's lap in ten seconds. Chloe kisses Lucifer hard. Lucifer pulls back. "Detective. As much as I want to I'd rather not in the car." Chloe leans back. "Come on. It's not like you haven't before." Lucifer chuckles. "True but that was in my car. My car doesn't have a roof. Chloe smiles. "Push the button beside your hand." Lucifer points. Chloe nods. Lucifer presses the button. The roof groans and opens up. Chloe smirks. "Did you really think I'd get a car just for its heated seats?" Lucifer shakes his head while smiling. "You little minx." Chloe smiles and puts her hands on Lucifer's chest. "So. You want to or do you wanna wait until later? I'm fine either way." Lucifer chuckles. "I know you are detective. I just." Chloe raises an eyebrow. "You just what?" Lucifer sighs. "Nothing. Not important." Chloe sighs. "You still doubt me don't you?" Lucifer shrugs. "I just don't want this to change us." Chloe puts her hands on Lucifer's face. "It will change us but not in a bad way. You may be the devil but not to me. To me you're more than that." Lucifer wipes his face and groans. "I get that but for some reason some part of me doesn't believe that." "Is this about the Father?" Lucifer nods. "Of sorts. He brainwashed you into thinking I was the cause for everything bad that's happened in the world. I just. In some way I agree with him." Chloe kisses Lucifer's cheek. "You're scared I'm gonna go back on my word and try to send you back to hell again aren't you?" Lucifer shrugs. "Can you blame me?" Chloe sighs. "Lucifer I love you. All of you and if my words won't convince you I know what will." Lucifer looks worried. "Detective no. Don't." Chloe screams in pain. Lucifer grunts and wraps his arms around Chloe tightly. "Detective you okay?" No answer. "Chloe..." Chloe smiles. "I knew it would work." Lucifer rolls his eyes. "Yeah but now you're in massive pain. I hate seeing you in pain." Chloe winces and shrugs. "Worth it. You wanna continue or?" Lucifer shrugs. "Up to you. I must say though. Your butt feels amazing." The two chuckle and Chloe rolls her eyes. Lucifer grips the console as Chloe starts moving. "Damn. This feels amazing." Chloe smiles. The two kiss for some time. Lucifer pulls away and Chloe pulls Lucifer out of her. Lucifer whines. "Hey!" Chloe giggles and pushes Lucifer back into her but not in her butt. Chloe moans. "Fuck." Lucifer smiles. "Language detective." Chloe swats Lucifer's arm. The two have their fun for another 10 minutes and then Lucifer pulls out after cumming. The two reorganized themselves and Chloe drives back to the precinct. Lucifer smiles like an idiot. Chloe giggles. "What?" Lucifer hums. "I'm just happy. Truly." Chloe smiles. "I'm glad." Lucifer takes Chloe's hand and holds it on the console. Chloe pulls into the precinct parking lot and puts the hood back up. Chloe walks into the building with Lucifer. Ella walks up to them. "Hey just the people I was looking for. I got something." Chloe and Lucifer follow Ella into the forensics lab. "I found a connection between our two victims. They both worked for a Pablo Sanchez back in 2000." Chloe looks at the picture. "He was there. At the crime scene. The first one." Lucifer takes a look. "Yes. I questioned him. He seemed not guilty." Chloe looks pretty close to the one picture. "Hey Lucifer look at this." Lucifer looks at what Chloe is pointing at. "Isn't that your friend from your club?" Lucifer sighs. "Of course it is. He's always sticking his nose in other people's business. He could be the next target." Chloe nods. "Lets go." Lucifer grabs Chloe's wrist. "Whoa slow down there detective. Not like that." Chloe looks at her clothes. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" "Nothing. You just won't get past the front gate if you plan on doing so. Come. I bet Maze has something you can borrow." Chloe follows Lucifer. "Maze darling." Maze growls. "What now Luci?" "I need a favor. I need you to lend detective decker here one of your more fashionable dresses." Maze sighs. "Fine. Come with me Chloe." Chloe follows Maze into a large closet. Maze hums. "What to pick what to pick." Maze smiles. "Ah." Maze hands Chloe her black cut dress. "Here." Chloe changes into the dress in the bathroom. Once she comes out Maze helps do her hair and makeup. Once Chloe's all dolled up she meets up with Lucifer again. He turns and whistles. "Damn love. You are a true vision." Chloe blushes and giggles. Chloe wraps her arm around Lucifer's and the two go to the Sanchez estate.
