The day before.
On reaching the orphanage, the warlocks were identified by the wolves they had been working with. This was going to make their work easier considering every wolf was aware of their fate hanging in the balance.
Without the two kids coming together, life would never be the same for the werewolves, and the human. It was a balance that needed to be maintained irrespective of who was who, and even though they had never met the kids, they were hoping they ere, not troublesome.
Given the warlocks had reached late, they were given a space to rest up, and a place to ponder over tee everything they were going to be doing tomorrow. Their only hope right now was that the two kids hadn't fully transitioned because if they did, they were in real trouble.
This was something that had never happened, and if it were to happen today, a lot of things would be changed. A lot of things would be disturbed, and that would only, learn that life was never going to be the same for them. Their only prayer was that they hadn't transitioned.
They expected the duo to already have their wolves because that was the norm. The wolves would show up a day before the birthdays., and if they didn't then the wolf would be considered an outcast, and given the lowest rack in the were-world.
The rank that had no respect, one where people were trampled upon despite being born of wolves themselves. The good thing about the whole ranking system of the wolves was that there were only four omegas in the history of the werewolves.
Only four had been sighted, and that was a good thing because at least no one would take, their time wot trample on your people. It would be an unfair fight. A whole kingdom against four people would be a curse by the moon goddess on her people, but even she was jot that harsh or so people hoped.

The night was going to be long, and everyone would feel it. Rhian and Angelo were both feeling people talking in their heads, and while Angelo was patient enough o wait for the sun to rise before he went hunting for answers, Rhian wasn't.
She was determined to fix herself, even if that would be the price she paid for turning eighteen years old, and looking like a barbie doll from a movie. A barbie doll really did her beauty no justice but that was the closest description to their reality.
They were trapped in things that they hadn't faced before, and being the impulsive one, she went to the orphanage, ready to break the gates if that's what it took to get the answers. She broke her own resolve, but then anyone in her state would.
She knew everyone hated her for being a thief, but why would they care about her this bad? Who would give her a ton of beauty, and a great resentment for the life she had spent eight years living?
Why would she be punished this bad?
Why would anyone want this even for their worst enemy?
If this was her last day alive, then she would make it the est. She was going to get her answers. The walk or rather the march to the orphanage didn't taker her long. It was just ten minutes by her estimation, and it could have been fewer if she wasn't focused on controlling the size of her steps.
That morning she had seen furs on her body, but they had disappeared. She needed answers, and they would give them to her.

"open the gates!! I swear if you don't, I will break them down!" She was here already, and everyone should feel it. She was here, wild, and uncultured as ever, despite the voice in her head telling her to calm down. Why would a mere voice tell her o calm down?
"will you just shut the fuck up? I am trying to find fucking answers, and you are honestly distracting me!" She angrily spoke to the voice in her head.
The guard at the gate was already scared of the woman ignorant of her. She looked so beautiful and very different, and clearly, she was a wild one. Unsure of what to do, the guard tried telling her to calm down, but the furious beauty had just had enough of being told to calm down.
Who did these people think they were? Telling her to calm down when she was in the middle of the most confusing phase of her life was not something she was expecting that was not seething she was going to accept.
Not this time, and not now when she was more confused than ever. If they wanted her clam, then they would do it themselves. In a fit of rage, she brought the gate down.
The gate that the orphanage management had spent millions building. The gate that the donors had bled sweat, and blood just to see fully functional and a crazy woman was the one to be blamed.
The guard, clearly in shock, fainted at the sight. He was not old, but he was not young either. Clearly, the shock messed up his functionalities. If this were a normal situation, Rhian would've stopped and checked n the guard, but she was not normal.
She was not herself.
She was not okay, and she was also tired of being told to calm down. Neither of the people who were busy patronizing her knew of the challenges she was facing at the moment.
They had no idea just how hard it was for her to be herself. But then again she was growing fuckin fur, she had elongated fingers, elongated nails, and even her body was different. She was different in all ways, and she was never going to be okay with that.
The management had better have a way to reverse the damn curse because she was going after them if this was really a curse.
