Despite this setback, Shey is determined to make the best of his situation. He quickly discovers that his luck is off the charts, and every time he finds himself in a pinch, his good fortune seems to save the day. His subordinates, the hero who is coming to kill him, and even the NPCs all believe him to be a formidable demon king, but Shey knows the truth: he is just a lucky guy who manages to get out of every sticky situation by the skin of his teeth.
As the story unfolds, Shey must navigate the treacherous world of demon politics, all while relying on his wits and his incredible luck to keep him one step ahead of his enemies. Along the way, he encounters a cast of memorable characters and finds himself in all sorts of hilarious and absurd situations as he tries to keep up the charade of being a powerful demon king.
