Lucas came home with scratches and cuts. His body was worn down with tiredness, and undeniably his clothes were torn from the stray twigs and branches. His exposed arms were reddened with rashes due to contact with stinging nettles, one of the itchy-rash plants. Red soft bumps were apparent on his face, neck and hands from the mosquito bites.
One look was all it takes, and others would know he had spent time in the forest. What confounded them would be his attire not befitting of hiking through the woods and the big wide grin that plastered on his attractive face. 'It must have been an unplanned trip' is what would run through the minds of those who had seen him.
