Unbound Familiar

An avid gamer nerd's dreams come true in another brutal yet lucky? fashion. Follow him as he does his best not to die in laughably humiliating ways, all while trying to escape his abrupt and unwanted servitude. Will his knowledge of the world he finds himself help him succeed? Will he return home? Will evolve past his title of 'Dog'? Read and find out! This will be another multiversal world-hopping story, similar to my other one, EBW. I'll not spoil the surprise of the first world, but Skyrim will eventually be involved... And no, I'll not be adhering to plot, instead destroying it and hopefully not butchering the original story in the process. Violence first, ask questions never.

Tiffania, seeing that these people likely wouldn't give a coherent reason as to why they hate her, decides to change tacts, "Please, leave my things and go. Do not make me hurt you." she pleads with wand drawn.

The villagers take a moment to muster up their courage, their fear of wands and magic ingrained in them by the nobles that rule them. "N-no! This shit is ours! Recompense for tampering with our minds, Demon!"

Michael shakes his head, "Alright, negotiations are a bust. Time to do this the hard-easy way." he abruptly announces, looking to Tiffania, "After you." he says, wanting her to act first.

Tiffania frowns and lowers her head, trying to psyche herself up to actually attack these people, completely going against her nature. "If you won't leave on your own, I will make you. Erase!" she shouts, causing a white light to flash from the top of her wand, causing the closest man's eyes to glaze over as he falls over backwards, unconscious.

"YOU FUCKING PIG!-" a man shouts but is knocked out like his friend, "Erase!".

By now the rest of the group were roaring in a rage and charging Tiffania's position with pitch force, axes, and other tools. Michael intercepts them before they can touch her though, sweeping his blade low and cutting three people's legs off, leaving them screaming in agony as they bloody the forest floor.

"Erase!" "Shock!" the duo cast at the same time, one knocking yet another man out while the other blasts the rest full of scorched holes. They cast spells for a couple seconds, until only a few villagers remain. Seeing this, they turn their backs to run, giving Michael an easy target for his next spell. "Sho-" he starts but he's interrupted as Tiffania pushes his hand away, causing his lightning to strike some nearby trees instead of the retreating men.

"Wait... They're running, they don't need to die..." she says, her eyes moistening and her nose twitching at the smell of burnt flesh and fresh blood.

Michael frowns at her, "This isn't the time for leniency, Tiffania. If they escape they'll tell everyone that we're here." he retorts, watching the backs of the men as they run past the opposite treeline, out of his line of sight.

"M-maybe, but, we are better than them... Right Michael? We won't attack fleeing unarmed people, right?" she asks, more pleading than anything.

He pushes her hand away and shakes his head, "You're wrong. I told you I'm going to destroy Cendri, the whole place. Did you think that'd exclude guys like them who want to escape?" he says, walking past her and beginning to shovel her stolen items into his inventory.

"But... What about the innocent people in the town? The children?" she asks, fearing his answer.

...

Michael had been trying not to think about it. He didn't want to become a monster, but if he followed through with his plan to burn Cendri to the ground, innocent people would undoubtedly get caught up in it. He couldn't control fire after all, not yet at least, and he intended to make sure that none of those bastards can escape.

He pauses and rubs his face, realising that his plan had been more based on emotion than anything rational. He wanted the townsfolk to experience what Tiffania had by burning them, but was he willing to kill children to do it?... No, was his answer.

He let out a heavy and looks up at Tiffania who was still waiting for his response, "What do you want to do then? I won't let them get away with what they've done! They deserve to be punished!" he states.

Tiffania walks over and gently hugs the back of his kneeling body, he's about to object but goes silent when he feels her heavy breasts resting behind his neck. "There are ways of destroying that place without harming people." she says, almost whispering in his ear, "I dislike those people as much as you, Michael, but I don't want to hurt even a single innocent person."

...

"They hurt you the most, Tiffania. Tell me how you want to go about it then." he asks, wanting to hear how she'd destroy Cendri without torching the entire place.

She hums contently as she feels the warmth from his body, "It's simple... We burn their farms and granaries..." she says, surprising Michael as he hadn't thought of that... Winter was coming soon enough, so the town would either have to import food, which would be incredibly expensive during the winter, or people would have to leave for a more prosperous place.

From what he'd seen of Cendri, it doesn't really have all that much going for it aside from its rather large farmlands, meaning that food was their main produce. Destroying their farms and granaries would easily starve the town and ruin their economy. Add the fact it hadn't rained in a while, and Tiffania's place seemed extremely viable.

He grins, rubbing the arm that was around his neck, "You know, I think that might actually work... Do you know where their granaries are located?"

Tiffania nods, only further rubbing her assets against him, "I do."

He chuckles, "You've been thinking about this long before they captured you." he remarks, causing her grip on him to tighten. "Alright, let's grab your stuff and leave before anyone comes looking for us. The smoke from your cabin is like a giant sign saying 'We are here!'." he says, storing the last of her items before standing up, causing Tiffania's feet to dangle off the floor slightly as she continues to hold him.

Huh, that's a first... "How tall are you?" he asks, curious.

"Ah, Matilda measured me and said I was five feet and two inches... And a half!" she quickly adds the last part, reminding him of his own concerns towards his height.

"Hm, I'm five-two as well, or used to be." he smugly turns his nose up, "Looks like I've grown. Not long til' I'll be playing in the NBA."

"En Bee Ay?" Tiffania parrots, not understanding him.

"Er, nevermind." he mutters, feeling slightly salty that all his references would be jibberish here.
