CHAPTER 19

(On the road)

-Alice Pov-

I can't believe it! This car is so cool! I can feel its dignity while driving. The interior is smooth, soft, and very elegant! I already fell in love with this car.

"So, how is it?" Mikael asked me while smiling.

"It's amazing!" I replied while giggling.

"I'm glad you like it," Mikael said and continued driving.

I was contemplating, should I talk to him about turning him into a vampire? I'm afraid he'll leave me because of it. I cannot leave his side anymore, I can't bear the thought of losing him, I can't live without him, I just can't...

"Alice, are you alright?" Mikael pulled me from my thoughts while holding my hand, and he looked at me with his concerned gaze.

"I'm fine," I replied while smiling.

"Alice..." Mikael said, still rubbing my hand to reassure me, and I kissed his hand, so it made us smile at each other.

"Did you tell Robert or your uncle about what happened yesterday?" I changed the topic.

"No, I won't tell them because I'm afraid that my uncle would send his army and come here to arrest the guy who hit me with his van, hahaha," Mikael replied while laughing.

I chuckled at his joke, but I felt his concern in those words, so this time I was holding his hand while he smiled at me.

"And I won't tell them about my powers and all of you," Mikael said with a serious gaze, and I just nodded at him.

The rest of the drive was beautiful. We flirted with each other, laughed at each other, and...hehe, this car is perfect for doing 'things.' But no, I must respect his decision about when we are going to do it. Before long, we reached the school.

(At School)

-MC Pov-

We arrived at the school and entered the parking lot, parking beside the Cullens. I saw the students gazing at my car, but as usual, they minded their own business when they saw that it was me driving the car. I held Alice by the waist and walked towards the Cullens.

"*Whistle* Nice car, dude!" Emmett said while whistling.

"Thanks, I just got it today," I said and greeted the other Cullens, nodding at each other.

We then walked towards the bus, but Edward suddenly stopped midway because of Bella. I'm sure he's listening to Mike asking Bella out for the prom. Of course, she rejected him, and I elbowed Edward, breaking his focus on Bella. I ignored him and walked towards the bus with Alice beside me.

We entered the bus and chose the back seat. Alice sat by the window, and I sat beside her. We held hands along the way, and her head leaned on me.

(At the Greenhouse)

-Still MC Pov-

I experienced the same thing as in the movie, with the teacher talking about compost tea. Alice and I walked behind Bella and Edward, waiting in front. Then Edward asked Bella about Jacksonville.

"Is Edward dumb?" I asked Alice, and she immediately giggled. Then Edward stared at me with an annoyed look, and I just shrugged at him. I mean, dude, isn't that making her more suspicious of you?

Bella then asked about yesterday, how Edward got beside her so fast, how he stopped the van, blah blah blah. Of course, he answered. He said that he had an adrenaline rush, which, if you think about it, kinda makes sense. Maybe it'll work on ordinary people, but then again, this is Bella.

After all of that, we reached the bus to go back to school, and then I saw Edward talking to Bella, and we approached them.

"Hi, are you gonna be riding with us?" Alice said to Bella.

"No, our bus is full," Edward said with a stern voice, then proceeded to get on the bus.

Bella looked at him, then Alice, then me. When she saw me, I could sense her confused gaze, but then she just ignored me as she was still confused about Edward. Alice then dragged me onto the bus, and we sat in the same seat.

(A Week Later)

-MC Pov-

A week had passed by just like that, with nothing special happening. Bella kept asking Edward about him, and then she came to me to ask about it as well, but I ignored her, saying that I didn't know. Must've been the wind. The Cullens and I still occasionally hang out together at their house.

During the week, Alice and I went on a date once, but it was nothing special. We just watched movies and then went home. I'm surprised because Edward hasn't told Bella the truth, as I'm sure in the movie Edward told her sooner. Anyway, I didn't care, to be honest, and now I'm on my way home with Alice still with me, of course.

"Are you sure you want to stay with me, Alice?" I asked Alice, who sat beside me in the passenger seat.

"100% sure. I promise you, don't I? That I will forever stay by your side from now on," Alice replied with a serious expression.

"Well... of course, but how about your parents? Did they agree?" I hesitated.

"You're worried about my parents instead of worrying that you're gonna live with a vampire?" Alice said with a chuckle.

"Well, if the vampire is as beautiful as you, I don't mind," I teased her, and she suddenly pecked me on the lips.

After that, we reached my house, and I parked the car in the garage. Then I went inside and took a shower. After that, Alice made me a cup of tea, but I was scared to drink it. But I drank it anyway, and maybe I'll teach her how to make proper tea later.

"I'll be back, okay?" Alice said and kissed me.

"You can take the ca-" Before I could say anything, she immediately left for her home. I just chuckled at that and continued drinking my tea.

(The Cullen's House)

-The Cullens Pov-

Alice could be seen storming to her room, leaving her family confused and surprised.

"Alice, what happened, my dear?" Esme asked in a concerned tone.

After about a minute, Alice came downstairs and entered the living room, earning another surprised expression from her family.

"Where are you going?" the Cullens asked her, looking at her luggage.

"Umm... I'll be living with Mikael from now on," Alice said innocently.

"That makes sense," Emmett said, while Rosalie elbowed him.

"Wait, wait, wait, you're not leaving us, are you?" Thea said in a concerned tone.

"What do you mean? Of course not. Mikael's house is only 10 minutes away from here, so we'll occasionally visit you guys," Alice said, chuckling.

"Are you sure, Alice?" Carlisle said, and Esme held her hands.

"I'm sure," Alice said in a serious tone. Carlisle then looked at his family, and they nodded in agreement.

"But Alice, you have to talk to him about being a vampire. Does he want to be turned or not?" Rosalie said, and everyone nodded.

"It's fine, Rose. I'm sure he doesn't mind being one of us, and I'll talk to him tonight," Alice said with a stern gaze, and Rosalie nodded.

"What about you, Edward? Have you told Bella the truth?" Carlisle asked Edward.

"N-no, not yet, but I'll tell her soon," Edward replied, and everyone just sighed at him.

"Anyway, guys, I have to go. Love you guys, bye," Alice said, then she immediately stormed off the house.

The Cullens were a bit surprised, but they just laughed and didn't mind her anymore because they were sure that Alice would be safe with Mikael by her side.

(At the dock near Waylon Forge's house)

-Third Pov-

We can see Waylon Forge, just chilling on his boat while holding a bottle of whiskey and listening to music. But then he felt that something was wrong.

"Halo?"

"Gerald."

"Gerald?"

Waylon then turned on his boat's engine, and before he could drive off, Victoria showed up and stopped the boat from the front. Waylon turned his head to Victoria and said, "Hello," while smirking.

But then James showed up behind him, making him turn around and feel a bit surprised.

"Nice jacket," James said, staring at him like he was prey.

"Who are you?" Waylon asked.

"It's always the same stupid questions," James and Victoria teased him.

"James, let's not play with our food," Laurent suddenly showed up and said to James. James clicked his tongue, and then they began enjoying their 'food.'

(At MC's House)

-MC Pov-

"Hmm? What was that?"

"What's wrong, Kael?" Alice asked and broke me from my thoughts.

"Must've been the wind," I replied and just shrugged.

Yep, you guessed it right. Alice came back from her house, bringing all her belongings, tools for painting, the paintings themselves, her clothes, basically everything.

"Alright, now pick your room," I said to Alice.

"What do you mean?" Alice asked, pouting.

"Well, pick a room," I said, shrugging.

"Humph." Alice then began walking to a room with a pouting face.

While Alice settled her things, I entered the kitchen and began cooking for dinner. While I was cooking, Alice stepped into the kitchen with a contemplative face.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Alice?" I said to her while I was still cooking and preparing tea.

"I need to talk to you about something," Alice said, lowering her head.

"Go ahead, I'm all ears," I said to her while I was pouring my tea.

"Do you want to become a vampire?" Alice said, almost making me spill my tea.

I put down the teapot and began thinking to myself, 'Can I even become a vampire? Do I have to become a vampire?'

I turned off the stove and stopped everything, then walked to her. I held her hands and said, "I'm curious, can I even become a vampire?"

"What do you mean?" Alice asked with a confused gaze.

"Bite me and inject me with your venom," I said, then I showed her my wrist.

"B-but Mikael..." Alice seemed hesitant and concerned.

"Do it."

Alice bit her lip, then she held my wrist and opened her mouth, showing her fangs, and then...

*Bit*

I didn't even flinch at the bite. I could feel Alice sucking my blood, and I just let her do it. Then, after 10 minutes of drinking my blood, she began injecting her venom, and I could feel it. After another minute, she let go of my wrist.

"I'm sorry, Mikael. I didn't mean to-" Alice said in an apologetic tone while wiping the blood from her mouth.

"Shushh... It's fine, Alice." I kissed her forehead, then stroked her head.

I then sat in a lotus position, closed my eyes, and looked at myself. It is just as I expected. My internal energy is resisting the venom, and the surprising part is that my blood is killing all the venom. You may ask why this happened. It's because... I'm already an immortal.

*Cough*

*Cough*

I coughed out all the venom and some dark blood, then stood up with Alice helping me. I sat on a chair, and after about a minute, I regained my composure.

"Mikael! What happened?" Alice said in a concerned and panicked tone.

"Well, it looks like it doesn't work," I replied, and she looked surprised.

"Did you feel anything? More strength, heightened senses, anything?" Alice asked.

"No, nothing... I felt the same way as before the bite," I replied while looking at my body.

"Then how? I must call the others about this!" Alice said while searching for her phone.

"Wait, Alice." I stopped her by holding her hand.

"I already know the reason for this," I said, looking into her eyes.

"What do you mean?" Alice asked, confused.

"Let's go to the roof. I don't want to stain the floor," I said, then pulled Alice with me to the roof.

After we reached the roof, I took out my sword and said, "I'm sorry, Alice."

"Mikael, what are you doing?" Alice was confused.

*Stab*

*Cough*

I stabbed myself in the heart and coughed a bit. I looked at Alice, and she froze.

"Well, this is my biggest secret, Alice," I said while the sword still pierced through me.

"Alice?" I called to her, and she still froze in place. So, I approached her and held her shoulders.

"Mikael... Please... Don't do this again," Alice looked at me in the eyes, and she shed a venom tear.

"I'm sorry, Alice. I promise I won't do it again," I said, then took off the sword from my chest, and my blood spurted out onto her face.

"..."

She licked her lips, and then suddenly pounced on me, kissing me aggressively. Thirty minutes later, we went back inside and cleaned up. Then, I burned my bloody clothes. Alice insisted on sleeping with me and said that she wouldn't let go of me, always keeping an eye on me because she was afraid that I'd do something stupid again. Anyway, here we are, having a nighttime conversation in bed again.

"So, you're immortal?" Alice asked me, while in my embrace, and I nodded.

"Yup, did you see your bite mark and the piercing wound?" I replied, and she shook her head.

"Are you planning to tell my family about this too?" Alice asked me.

"Of course, maybe I'll chop off my head, hahaha," I said jokingly, and Alice pinched me on my hand.

"No, I'm not letting you do that again," Alice looked me dead in the eyes.

"Yes, ma'am!" I said, and we just laughed.

After some more flirting, we slept for the night, with Alice in my embrace. I don't know why, but I felt a bit of heat from Alice. Meh, I'll leave it for another day.
