Creek-- Crack--
The sound of cracking and something falling apart overshadowed the sound of the soft snoring beside Ryan's ears.
It was as if the air itself had cracked. Fragments, like those of a fractured mirror, lingered suspended in midair for a split second and fell down, evaporating before they could touch the floor.
Ryan tried again, but the bubble he created continued to shatter in his palm before it could properly solidify.
"haaaaa..."
Ryan channeled a bit of radiation to every corner of the right hemisphere, the artistic side of his brain, to better visualize an enclosed, plain space with nothing as much a decoration.
He concentrated on channeling his energy toward the intended area, which was right atop his palm, where radiation flowed even more smoothly.
